Orsa Maggiore Hostel for Women Only in Rome

The place is peaceful and lovely. The sisters are very friendly, patient, helpful. The rooms are large, well air conditioned, and replenished with fresh towels daily. The city connections are great. The tram is only a few steps away. Sublime

Very very nice hostel for women. Perfect location, very friendly and helpful staff. I was a solo traveller, felt right at home and could visit all tourist attraction via walking.

This hostel is part of what I understand is a community for women. So there are other events happening here. I attended a play happening in the evening I was there. Very beautiful.

They have spring mattress which aren't the most comfortable and the fans run too slow but these are minor issues.

We really enjoyed staying here! The staff was very kind and accommodating. My bed was comfy, room was clean and large, I felt very safe, and the showers and bathrooms were nice! I would definitely recommend for anyone traveling to Rome on a budget.

Was a beautiful place to stay in old Rome. They are a non profit organization that helps aspiring female artists and women in need (something to that extent). It is also a women's only hostel, sorry guys. I felt very safe here and It was very clean. Beautiful, delicious cafe with very authentic food in the center of the complex where the hostel is located. During our stay they had nightly performances that were amazing. There is a large garden to roam in, they will wash your clothes for a fee. It was great and two added bonuses were a pair of kitties I met named Stella and Nina that live in the complex. I did rated 5 stars but I have to be honest, the beds are not 5 star comfort and it was hot. But it's a hostel in old Roam, can't have it all. Also during the summer there are those loud performances in the courtyard so bring ear plugs!

A great place to stay in Rome for female travellers,. The facilities are very clean and the rooms are comfortable. The staff are great really friendly and helpful. It is walking distance to many of the sights of Rome and close to public transport. The neighborhood is charming and safe with plenty of nearby restaurants. I really enjoyed my stay here.

A unique place to stay. Many ages of woman and a kind of meeting place in the courtyard for woman of Rome. Clean. And excellent location to trastevere, st Marc's square, pantheon, the river, bus stops, palazzo navona and compi De fuori.

Very welcoming and in a great location! If you have the time visit the Farenese Villa half a block away.
Coffee or tea in the morning and staff is always willing to help and advise.

Very nice experience meeting other female solo travelers. The vibe of the hostel is laid back and relaxing. Was easy to feel comfortable

I made so many friends here and met like minded, solo female travellers. Great kitchen and spots to hang out. There's no lock for your bag though, and only one key per room. You also have to pay in cash when you arrive. It got a bit cold at night because it was winter and there weren't many blankets. However, it's in a beautiful, safe location and I felt safe and happy while I was here. Would definitely recommend. Thank you!
