We had a great stay at Raeli Hotel Lux. The location is very convenient, and the room was clean and well-maintained. The staff was helpful, and the facilities met all our needs during the trip. It’s a solid and comfortable choice for a stay here.
Great location, good staff and lots of options for meals nearby
The room size was just right. Although it's a bit old, it's very well-maintained. There were no strange smells from the bathroom or anything. The hotel was also very responsive to our needs. The service was genuinely excellent.
The hotel is located in the embassy district with guards at the intersections, which made us feel very safe.
However, it's a bit of a walk from Termini, not particularly close.
The room was on the smaller side. It's a good option if the price is right, but I wouldn't recommend it if it's too expensive.
The service attitude was good, and they have 24-hour front desk service.
This hotel is situated not far from the main railway station.
From the hotel it’s very easy walk to the many sites of Rome.
The hotel allowed us to check in a little earlier which enabled us to use the hop on off bus
The location very close to Rome Terminal Bus and train station, allow you to go any part of Italy. The room is not that big but very clean with budgeted allowance.

1. Excellent service, convenient location, generous breakfast, and great value for money – highly recommended!
2. New facilities, clean and hygienic, friendly staff, overall satisfied.
3. Newly renovated, stylish design, smart home features, a great stay experience, will definitely come again.
4. Spacious room with a great view, comfortable bedding, quiet and clean, a very comfortable stay.
The hotel is a 15-minute walk from the train station. It's also not far from the Basilica of Our Lady. The hotel facilities are average, similar to a Hanting Hotel in China. The breakfast is also just average. The pizza place nearby, run by Africans, is quite good.
Good ambient, and good restaurants around
Very good, very good, very good, very good, very good
It's amazing! It's right next to Rome Station! There's a bar on the rooftop at night, making it very convenient to various attractions! The room was also very nice! I didn't expect Europe to be so affordable. It's better to go to Italy than Hong Kong! Apart from the airfare, Italy is much more cost-effective than Hong Kong and Macau in other aspects.
During this trip to Rome, the Guardian Hotel left me with a great impression!
From the location point of view, it is in an excellent location, very close to Rome Termini Station, convenient for travel, and there are subway stations around, so you can easily go to various attractions in the city. And the area is very quiet, there is no sense of noise at all, and you can sleep well at night.

Pros:
- Great location, walking distance to places like Colosseum and Trevi Fountain.
- There's some places to go out and eat around the corner.
- Very friendly staff and we were allowed to check-in a few hours early.
- The breakfast buffet was better than some 5 star hotels I've been to.
- AC controls in the room.
Cons:
- No complimentary water or tea.
Location is perfect, you’re looking directly at the Roman Forum, it’s 8 minutes to the Colosseum, and it’s a short walk to other points of interest in the surrounding area. (Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain)
Service is exceptional! Beds and hotel are nice and clean. The staff is always available, very helpful at getting taxis, plus the breakfast is delicious.
I plan on staying here in the...
The location of this hotel was perfect. There was a side entrance to the Palestine Hill and colosseum which NEVER had a line. It had an excellent bar with adorable ambiance - twinkling lights and romantic in the garden. The rooms were exceptionally clean. Housekeeping was extremely accommodating. The only thing that I was surprised by was the tiny shower.
Had lovely stay for 2 nights in Rome. Great location, silent, staff was extremely welcoming and took our little one in count by setting a set of toys in our room. Restaurant was romantic garden setup and food tasty and fresh. Recommend to stay here. If aircon is too high you can get it switched off by the reception.
We loved our stay at Hotel Kolbe. We had a family room and it was so spacious and comfortable. The location of the hotel is wonderful. We enjoyed walking out our door to see Ancient Rome right in front of us. We also enjoyed the breakfast: large selection and the food was delicious. Finally, we cannot say enough good things about the staff. They were so friendly and kind, and extremely helpful.
Omar at the front desk was FANTASTIC and especially helpful in navigating ground transportation for our fast and furious stay. While the hallway was pleasant, the AC in our room did not cool as much as we would have liked. We had to call the desk to request the default setting go below 20. There are not adequate surfaces in the bathroom to rest the tray with complimentary soaps or larger toiletry...

An absolutely gorgeous place to stay. The view? Breathtaking. I have to stay longer than one night next time. The service is superb. Contanzo was the one who checked me in and out. They called a taxi for me and everything was so smooth. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I have to visit again.
The hotel is in an excellent location, with views of the Tomb of Victor Emmanuel and part of the Forum. Our room was plush, comfortable, and very clean. Breakfast in the restaurant was also a highlight — I had perfectly poached eggs on toast and enjoyed sampling the selection of pastries brought to our table.
However, there were some service gaps that stood out, especially given the price point. When...
Excellent Guest Service
I had a truly enjoyable stay at this hotel—everything from the ambiance to the service was top-notch. The staff were friendly and professional, and the overall experience was very comfortable.
What really stood out to me, though, was the care and attention I received even after checking out. I had lost an item and reached out for help. Although it wasn’t found, I want to give...
The overall rating is a 4.5 star hotel. They try to reach 5 stars in all aspects. There are no major problems, but they are always a little bit short. The room size is OK, the design is good, but it is a bit dark. The pillows and bed are quite comfortable, and there are different pillows (pillow menu) to choose from. The air conditioner is a little slow to cool down. The facilities are well maintained...
The hotel has a wonderful location—right in the heart of many major attractions and within walking distance to everything. Every single member of the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful; thanks to them, I felt safe even though I was traveling alone. I would like to thank each one of them individually.

Every room detail wisely arranged, breakfast very good! Bus 49 to metro and center of Rome, very convenient!
The rooms are outdated, but it is clean and comfortable. The free breakfast is nice. It is conveniently located 10 minutes' walk from the subway station and has gated parking!
Not a 4 stars hotel! we paid 100 euros extra for a supliment bed for 3 days a little boy of 4y old. We had 2 extra beds, both terrible!! like broken in half. Breakfast was fine. Location of the hotel is a disaster, very dirty and with bad ppl.
Price/quality - adequate. For short-term stay - a great option!)
Super clean, breakfast was great! Staff were so friendly and helpful , close enough to subway , grocery store and pharmacy

The gym is too small, smaller than the guest rooms. The breakfast was a bit disappointing.
Convenience to everywhere . Clean and good breakfast . Room so big
Unfortunately, the check-in experience was disappointing. The lady receptionist who checked us in on the evening of 29 Dec 2025 came across as quite rude when I asked about the room I had booked. I paid more for a specific room configuration (1 double bed + 1 single bed), but was instead given a smaller room with only a queen-size bed, which did not match my booking.

Very nice hotel with spacious rooms. Clean, friendly staff and right above subway! Easy to get around. Super market right next door.
It’s a nice hotel with good location . Friendly and clean and good for price

The hotel is in an excellent location, the breakfast is delicious, and the staff are extremely friendly, especially those in the restaurant and breakfast room. It's a shame that the recent renovations have caused some unpleasant minor inconveniences.
While the hotel is in a good location (5 mins away from metro stop Policlinico) there were several issues. Original room booked was not correct, when a replacement was given it was still being cleaned and was told to wait 30 minutes despite it being later afternoon well after check in time. Several amenities were broken or not replenished in the bathroom. My advice calling ahead just to confirm the...
This accommodation is located 1.2km from Rome Termini Station. There are small cafes nearby due to the university. However, there are no convenience stores around between 9 and 10 PM. Simple drinks can be purchased from the vending machine on the lower floor.
The location wasn't as bad as I thought, and the staff were friendly. However, the shower room was too small.
Wifi is to slow and reception not friendly.
It is perfect for us. The staff Alessio serve us with genuine and very proactive attitude ! Wonderful italiano service
The hotel is refurbished and very new now. Much better than last time.

We have just returned from a wonderful 5 day holiday at this fabulous boutique hotel, where we took part in a 3 day cookery masterclass. We feel so incredibly lucky to have had the opportunity to stay at Casale San Pietro after hearing so much about it from friends that had already visited. Great staff at the front desk. Very upbeat and friendly. Also, the staff was able to handle the chaos in the lobby with ease. Impressive.
However, there is one young girl in the restaurant that seems pretty angry with the world. I felt like an inconvenience to be seated by her or to ask questions of her. No friendly smile. And, she wasn’t nice to the young man that tended the bar area.
Overall,...
I was impressed with the courtesy of the front desk staff, the convenience of the hotel location and comfort of the rooms.
Pictures look nicer than reality. Our bathroom ceiling had a leak and no door. It just had a folding that you were expected to move every time you wanted to access the bathroom.
Room was extremely hot. In November, they can’t put the AC on so we had to sleep with the windows open and it was very loud. The hotel is under renovation.
Staff was kind, but we didn’t sleep much.
The room in the annex building did not match the ones on the site. The furniture had visible stains as well. This is a solid (3) star hotel because of its close proximity to walk to everything but it is not a 4 star property (at least not in its current semi renovated state). Our room was on the 1st floor and it was exceptionally noisy & our bathroom toweled were frayed/damaged. I decided not to focus...
This is a convenient place to stay in Monti, near convenient stores and very good restaurants. (Go around the corner and eat at La Taverna Dei Monti. You won't regret it.) Very nice hotel. The room was spacious and the staff was wonderful. We only stayed one night and didn't eat there, so I can't comment about that. Also, we went "off season" so the price was competitive. I'm not sure what the numbers would look like at the height of tourist season (but that's an issue everywhere).
Two things to note:
First: If you're seeing the Vatican, this place is optimal. It...
Just finished a two night stay and I wish it had been more. The staff is friendly and efficient. Everyone from Diana, who checked me in and gave me a Diamond upgrade to the room, to the bartenders working the bar and restaurant. The room was clean and updated. My wife and I recently stayed at Spring House Hotel, and it exceeded every expectation we had for a stay in Rome. Such a wonderful experience we had here.
Car park on site (€20 a day) which was very helpful.
Most of the staff are very attentive to the cleanliness spot on everywhere.

The bed is soft, the pillows are long, it's close to tourist attractions, easy to walk to, and safe.
The room is not soundproof, there are no slippers provided, and the hallway to the room might seem a bit maze-like.
The room is very small, very small, 10 minutes walk from the Colosseum
Not suitable for friends with large bags
The location is invincible. With two elders and two children pushing a stroller, all famous attractions can be reached on foot. Except for the high price, I think it can make up for the fare. The breakfast is good, but it will be the same tomorrow. It is also suitable for staying more than 3 days. Friends may find it a bit boring. Overall, it is worth recommending.

Excelente location, great breakfast, but some stuff very rude.
Excellent location with great connectivity—bus stop just a 5-minute walk away. The Trevi Fountain is also very close, only about a 10-minute walk. Overall, an excellent experience and highly recommended.
The location is super convenient, almost all attractions are within walking distance. Hotel security is quite strict, and they manage who comes in and out tightly. Although the room isn't huge, it has a balcony and the bathroom is spacious. Overall, it was a great experience.
The hotel is in a great location. The staff is wonderful. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and the Pantheon is practically right next door. The quality of the mattresses and pillows could be improved, and the breakfast could be a bit more varied. But overall, we were satisfied with the hotel.
The location is fantastic, especially for first-time visitors looking to hit all the major attractions, with many popular spots nearby. Being within the ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone), it's perfect for walking.
Very good location. Super friendly staff. Check-in and check-out process is very fast. Hotel is a bit old but doesn't matter too much as I wasn't in the room a lot of the time. Overall very good experience.

Hotel is in a great location, was happy to be upgraded to a suite which was nice. The room was large and modern. Hotel is noisy with other guests but we are in the city so expected. Would stay again.
The staff are warm and friendly. Ther elevator in the hotel is unique which requires manual closing a good experience. Sephora MAC and Kiki Milano are all nearby
Spanish steps as well. Zara men outlet and many other
Branded goods shops nearby.
The room was spotless, the staff was great and rooms were large. I didn’t like the fact that it was an Amex building at first but that building was better located than the first building
Glenn and Mike were both fantastic at breakfast. Glenn was full of sights and information, and Mike was just spot on pleasant. On our last day after check-out, Fredrico stood with us in the rain until we got a cab to the airport. It was a wonderful stay!
Excellent hotel
Nice room decor, bathroom, comfortable bed and pillows, fast Wi-Fi, close to all the sights, restaurants, and shops, decent breakfasts. The only minor drawback: there are no outlets near the beds, only USB, which is a bit outdated. Many chargers use either a Type-C or a wall outlet, so I had to charge my phone in a different outlet.
Breakfast was great with excellent service staff. Cant remember the name but he was a Filipino guy who has moved to Rome to work. Gave us some good tips of Rome and very knowledgeable. Loved the location right in the heart of Via Del Corso. Only issue was the hot water was not consistent and only works when we turn on the sink tap.

Good location, but the hotel suffers from a humidity problem. The hallways are unwelcoming, the room isn't soundproofed, and one of the towels had a bloodstain. Furthermore, the breakfast was subpar. I don't understand the generally good reviews; at €250 a night, one clearly expects better.

Best Hotel, friendly staf, clean and beautiful room, good quality breakfast and most important is the location, less than 5 minutes walk to Vatican and lots of good restaurant around. We will deff come back

During the day, the hotel transforms into a pedestrian street. It's not far from the subway station and very conveniently located near the Vatican. A delicious restaurant is a 10-minute walk away, but the supermarket next door is quite expensive. I recommend buying food and water at the larger supermarket near the subway station.
