Hotel Ripa Roma, Rome1 / 30
8.4
Lazio, Rome, Via Degli Orti Di Trastevere 3 🧭 Map
The hotel is in a decent location not far from Trastevere. I got an older room clearly not like the ones the hotel is promoting. It had a small kitchen. But had nothing for it, not even some utensils. The room was big but dated. Wouldn’t mind staying again. My room was by the road and was a bit noisy at times from the road.
Great hotel great location great service Only downside was that the mattresses were very soft and quite old, however we asked for them to be replaced and it was done!!!
The hotel was fantastic overall! The staff, the huge room, the cleanliness, the amazing breakfast, and the unbeatable location. I would definitely stay again!
The rooms on the top floor of the building appear to have been created following an expansion that wasn't very ergonomically successful. Routine maintenance work is rough, with obvious paint chips and smudges. The room was quite dirty, especially under the bed and on the floor. The electrical system needs updating.
The staff were lovely and the family room was fantastic for travelling with two toddlers. All the major sites were really easily accessible from the bus stop nearby and there was a great supermarket just around the corner. I would definitely stay at Hotel Ripa again.
Nice hotel with a modern vibe. Good breakfast. If you’re looking for a crash pad in a good area then stay here. The staff couldn’t care less if you’re staying there. They don’t even bother with a greeting, let alone a smile. It’s quite bemusing as I live in Europe and travel a lot, especially to Italy.

The hotel's location is not far from the bus stop, metro station, and airport shuttle stop, which was incredibly convenient for our early morning trip to the Vatican. The breakfast selection was quite varied, and they even upgraded our room for free. The front desk staff were very friendly, and they even verified our identity before letting us into the hotel area, which made us feel very secure. Overall...
Phenomenal experience staying here from friend's recommendation. Am planning on returning to Rome at end of the year, and planning to stay here again!
The hotel is quite old and close to the subway station, but overall it's not good.
this hotel is very strategic if you have a car. It has a very convenient parking and the metro stop is very close. great Breakfast. we will be back for sure.
Great hotel, looks like a modern art gallery inside, and the gardens are beautiful. Services is very good and to include the breakfast was totally worth it.
Beautiful hotel.. bit far from main attractions..

This hotel was the most expensive during my trip to Italy, yet the room was small and the soundproofing was terrible – I could clearly hear noise from the hallway. It's about an 8-9 minute walk from the train station, which is its only real advantage in terms of convenience.
Overall, the room was decent. It's very close to the train station, and there are plenty of food options nearby, which is really convenient. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next visit. This hotel is worth considering.
Very close to Rome termini, but shower has quite mediocre water pressure.
Just a few minutes' walk from Termini Station and the metro, this hotel is conveniently located near several attractions, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. The staff are warm and professional, offering helpful and thoughtful assistance. While the hotel has some age to it, it's well-maintained.
I like this hotel but seem like the cleaner troll away everything

Front desk service was excellent and friendly. But the hotel was worn out and really needs major renovation
Terrible service and facilities. The air conditioner broke, but they didn't fix it and kept saying it was fine. It was too hot to sleep, so I switched to a cheaper room. It was half the space, the view was worse, and the TV was broken. They didn't even provide the amenities, and the hotel refused to refund the price difference. Their attitude was incredibly abrupt! Aside from the location, everything...
The room facilities are old, the service staff is few, and the location is very good!
This is my favourite hotel in Rome. Its old world charm and architecture, gr8 service and our room was stylish and spotless. The bars r devine and at Christmas the decorations and tree really beautiful. The Nazis occupied it during WW11. Exudes history. Excellent location. Good value for money. We stayed 4 nights. Loved the marble lion staircase. Class act!
Very beautiful architecture, fantastic paintings and design. I do not like taste of coffee and cookies. Service is good and friendly.
Great location as everything is located literally 20 min walk to all the attractions. The Grand Hotel Plaza has a lot of history and unique design to its credit. Shopping Restaurants n supermarkets all a few minutes away However it seems to have lost its charm due to few issues. The reception and lobby area can get a bit busy as they don't have a dedicated check in and check out area. The rooms...

Perfect hotel Service: Excellent 💓 From check-in to our room, they explained all the hotel services. Luggage was delivered to the room. The suite service was also amazing, and we even received champagne. 🍾 Facilities: Perfect, the bed was very comfortable, and the water was powerful. Amenities: Fantastic
That’s was perfect stay in nice place
The hotel boasts a magnificent spiral staircase and spacious hallways. The rooms are luxurious, bright, and quiet and comfortable. The service is attentive, with complimentary champagne and fruit. The Italian breakfast is exceptional, and the restaurant even features evening performances. The doorman helpfully calls taxis, making it very convenient to reach major attractions.
Great! The hotel also provided champagne.
What we really really love is the friendliness off all the staffs. The location is great. We spent the best in Rome. Will definitely back when we have the chance
All the staff I met were very warm and friendly. My wife had some health problems during the trip. The hotel's housekeeping manager, lobby manager, lobby staff, and housekeeping staff all took the initiative to provide us with a lot of help at the first time. They provided us with a lot of security when we were helpless. I am grateful. The room service was also great.

The location of the hotel is very close to Spanish steps. Just walk up the steps and it’s very close. Their service is impeccable and friendly. I love their buffet breakfast especially the thick hot chocolate serve at the buffet.
Wonderful hotel - it was our 2nd visit within 2 weeks and it didn’t disappoint. The staff are professional, the premises top notch, the price/value ratio is unbeaten given the location. Will be back soon. Thank you!
Great location, near Plaza de España. The hotel is a bit old, but the breakfast is good. 👍
Very disappointed. Some waiters have bad attitudes and cannot solve some of the guests' needs.
It's in a high-end hotel area, quiet and clean, very close to the Pantheon. There was a long queue of people and VIPs with guns at the Merrill Lynch Hotel next door early in the morning. It turned out that their deputy chief had arrived.
We had a wonderful stay at the Westin Excelsior in Rome. The staff was so very helpful - they gave us recommendations for dinner and arranged for a car to take us to the airport (same price as a taxi, but so much more comfortable). Our stay was great. We only stayed one night as we were just passing through. Had dinner in restaurant in the hotel. The breakfast had a good selection. Everyone was very friendly. Well, might be the most spacious and modern hotel I have visited so far. Breakfast is good, equipment outstanding, room and bathroom are really spacious, there's even electric sun blind in the room. And there are really tall trees at the parking space to relly block out the sun, what else ca you ask for? Can be lack of some personal touch on this kind of corporate hotels, but I don't mind at all.
Don't get me wrong - at 64 euros per night I did not expect much from this hotel. The reason why we stayed there is because we needed to be closer to FCO airport for an early flight and also because it is 5 mins away from Castel Romano outlets. The area around is nothing spectacular. The hotel itself looks like it was a large, 4 solid star hotel that was used for conferences but those days are long...

I stayed at this hotel during my honeymoon trip to Italy after getting married on November 1st. Staying in this hotel for the second time. Excellent location. Close to the Rome Termini train station, which take 35 minutes from the airport by Leonardo Express train. Walking distance to many popular historic places and nice restaurants.
I picked the hotel bc it was close to the train station. 5 minutes, and easy walk with our suitcases! Polite staff. The room was fairly large, and the bathroom was perfect. A nice and well-kept hotel. Bad things: The breakfast teapot was rather dirty in and out. And the staff didn't take away the used handkerchief of the former guest. 非常乾淨舒適!地點方便

Good breakfast, spacious room, comfortable beds, and a hot shower. Very good for the price paid. Friendly staff on reception, too. Would recommend.
Very fair out from centre of Rome there is a train station 10 minutes away but it’s not easy to use I would dow load the train app to know times and what train to get as there’s no staff at train station, the hotel clean but small rooms and breakfast was okay
Rooms are very small. I booked executive room and it's no bigger than an average hotel room.
The service was much appreciated, with a great deal of kindness, availability, and helpfulness. The front desk was excellent, and the restaurant service was even better, both for dinner and breakfast. The dinner was average, nothing spectacular, but the food was good, plentiful, and in line with the menu's promise. Despite being busy, the service was flawless. Only the elevator, one of the three, broke...
The room was generally satisfactory. The lobby can get a bit crowded when the hotel is hosting tour groups, but it's good that breakfast and tour group meals are on different floors. On the first day, I mistakenly went to the tour group restaurant on the ground floor, which was crowded and had a bad experience. The second day, I went to the restaurant on the ground floor, which was much quieter.
The hotel looks new and modern, breakfast is ok

Super satisfied! We forgot our valuables in the room and they kept them for us! ! ! !
The reason for the 3 stars is that it is basically at the level of a 3-star hotel... Rome is just expensive and lousy... A very good hotel in the historical city centre! Very clean, very friendly staff. Good breakfast, nice bar.
The step at this hotel goes above and beyond to make sure that you are as comfortable as possible, and that you enjoy your stay and the city in an amazing way. When we arrived, my son was very sick. Walking distance from train station and attractions. Room qaa veey clean and looked exactly like what was described while booking. You are able to have a good breakfast. Very good buffet options or you can order from the menu. Spa on-site is an added bonus.
Conveniently located very close to the train station. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy. The breakfast offered a good variety, and the service was excellent. An excellent choice if you’re planning a trip to Rome. The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Roma Termini and about 5 minutes from Repubblica metro station. Location: The location is excellent, close to all attractions and within walking distance of the train station. Facilities: The room size is quite large for European standards, and the facilities and cleanliness are decent, meeting the expectations of a four-star hotel. The hotel's staircase and elevator have a unique honeycomb design, which is a nice touch. Would recommend to others.
The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Termini Station. It's spacious and very clean. They even gave us a small gift for Valentine's Day, which was a lovely touch. It's also quite close to all the city's attractions, making it very convenient for getting around.
Pros: For a European hotel, the room was quite spacious, and it even had a small single sofa and a desk. A nice touch was the provision of disposable slippers and bathrobes. The bathroom facilities were new and very clean. Cons: It's located near the main street, and the soundproofing isn't great. I could hear cars roaring all night, which made it hard to sleep. We spent 5 nights at the Hoxton for our first ever trip to Italy. It is a very nice hotel withe modern rooms, a nice restaurant with inside and outside seating. The first room we occupied could use a little more care with decor and air flow. The hot water didn’t work the first few evenings but only in the AM.
Good hotel, but not easy to find a taxi or uber to bring you downtown. It took me almost 1h . But i heard public transport is good ( if you have less luggages)
I stayed two separate times in a span of a week in different rooms. The first stay the room was larger but had an ant issue and made the room feel dirty. However the second room I stayed in was clean but a bit smaller. Other than the ant issue I would stay at the hotel again as the buffet breakfast was very convenient for my stay.
Husk of former glory Hotel has seen better days and its just a downward spiral based on our visit. The area is walking distance from everything you need though, bus, restaurant, pharmacy and grocery store.
Property was ok not the worse but the best either. Breakfast was ok but limited selection.

Suitable for business, although the subway is not close by walking distance, but the price is good. The distance to the surrounding attractions is acceptable
If there is no taxi, it is very inconvenient. If you are a free traveler who walks a lot, it is difficult to take the subway because the area gets dark quickly in the winter and the shopping district is far away. There's nothing good to say about foreign hotels. They cost thousands a night, the rooms are small, and the facilities are outdated. The good hotels are in China!
