Luciano Laterani Guest House in Rome

We had prepaid our stay, provided our documentation and responded to all messages from the owner, but we were a little late arriving due to our flight delay and they refused to let us in. We had told them we'd be there between 6-7pm and apparently they don't let people in after 6:30pm. So by 8pm we were standing on the street outside with no place to stay. They refused to help in any way and refused to refund our money. Just understand that if anything goes slightly sideways, they are going to refuse to help you.

Booked there but our card was declined 3 times ,Avoid it.I finally booked another property and if it was close to Laterani I would very much like to go there and see their faces.I can't understand how this place still welcomes guests.

A shame. Absolutely.
We booked Laterani Guest House more than 2 months ago. We receive a confirmation by email from the guest house that they were waiting for us. We booked our flights and everything for holidays in Roma. And one week before our flight departure the hotel just sent an email with just "oh by the way we cancelled your reservation today". Without any justification. Nobody wants to give us an explaination by phone: "only email only email" and then nobody answers to emails. A guest house without anyone to speak with the customers....right...
Non professional and a shame to cancel a full week reservation just some days before a travel especially in summer like this.

Travellers be careful. You want to be sure to have funny and no-problem holidays ? So easy: just chose another guest house.
