A horrifying experience. On the first day of staying there, we discovered that the bathroom drain was blocked. After just two minutes of washing, the water would rise above our ankles, making it impossible to take a shower. When we informed the staff about the situation, he told us that someone would come to fix it the next morning. They couldn't fix it that night, and we couldn't change rooms either. Then he simply threw the room key onto the bed and left... So we had no choice but to endure it. However, when we lay down on the bed, we found someone else's hair and dust under the pillow...

They said someone would come to repair it the next morning, but when we came back the next evening and turned on the water, the pipes were still clogged, and the water quickly rose above our ankles. Moreover, the hair under the pillow was still there, and the towels hadn't been changed. We had to negotiate to finally get two towels.

On the third day, the bathroom still wasn't fixed, and the water couldn't drain, so we couldn't take a shower. The room remained uncleaned, and the towels were still the same.

That's how we spent three days in this hotel in Rome, with a blocked bathroom the entire time.

Perhaps this hotel has some advantages, but I didn't experience any. What's more important is that it is essentially a hostel converted from a residential building, yet they charge hotel prices. For the same price, you could have easily found a proper hotel.

This room will have everything you need to have someplace to stay, and a WI-Fi. It’s described as in the center of the city, but the closest landmark is 40 min walking distance, cuz you don’t want to drive in Rome. However, most of the drawers are broken and nonfictional. If you’re below 160cm (5.3) tall will be almost impossible to reach the closet hangers which also becomes useless, there is no drainer in the bathroom so you can eventually swim in water due to no drainage, the shower space is super tiny, you can hear everything next door, located on the ground floor the garbages are right in front of the window, the sink has a massive whole for the water to drain hopefully you don’t drop anything cuz you sure won’t see it again. Most upsetting we stay there for two nights, and someone walked in our room moved our staff, stopped the AC, open the window, didn’t replace the towels, nor the sheets, but touched my clothes and fixed the bed that didn’t need to be fixed with NO permission. Clearly the purpose wasn’t to clean, but to take a look around and mask it with fixing the bed. If you want something to do why don’t you fix the mess outside of our room where things are falling apart and looks like a storage room with not even coffee machine, and leave our room alone?! I’m baffled of what makes those ppl think walking inside someone’s room is okay and not change the sheets and towels?! At least make it more believable if you’re going to sniff around my room. Oh and the owner will charge you 24 euro for city taxes regardless that I already paid them thrugh booking on the top of the room and taxes I already paid! I will assume that he uses those money to pay his own taxes. Also, be aware that the owner would take a picture of your passport and ID on his self phone with bunch of other once from previous clients without deleting them. Where’s this information going and why is done so unprofessionally would remain a mystery. This whole place is mad fishy and I would certainly not recommend.

The rooms are good enough. The location is amazing, close to trenitalia and many bus stops. The cefalù bistro di pesce is associated to this place (where the check-in desk occurs) and it is also very good for dinner. The rooms are very good in thermal and sound isolation from outside. However it is not so good in sound isolation related to other rooms, we can hear other people talking in near rooms. The overall experience was very positive. Fair prices for the location.

Room was nice and clean. But. Minus:
– no kettle to make hot tea
– small shelves in the bathroom
(Please, make those two improvements. It will cost about 15€...)
– it is next to the pavement and street. You can see people just out of window. That’s why there is not photos of this room with windows.

The price its ok, the rooms are clean and pretty big, the personal its very friendly. Its not situated really in the town centre, but with the bus you can go to the town centre, the bus station its not far away.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Great value for money, everything very clean, well located (2.8 km from the center and it is possible to take an electric bike / electric scooter to return home, in addition to being 5 minutes from the Quattro Venti train station that connects to the airport It is close to good bakeries, markets, in addition to being a more familiar neighborhood. Staff and owner very helpful and attentive. Good air conditioning and refrigerator in the room.
