This is the perfect location if you want to tour vatican city. It's literally steps away from st peters. We would wake up at 640, leave by 655 and be in st peters when it opened at 7! So location can't be beat.
It is a small hotel so small elevator and bit cramped stairways. But they clearly smush the hallways to maximize the bedroom size. It was a spacious room with an absolutely beautiful bathroom. The shower was huge!

A delightful little boutique hotel right in the heart of Rome sharing a backyard with the Pope for all intents and purposes. Definitely a great choice if you simply want a comfortable and pleasant base out of which to do trips, walks, and explore in general.

What a great little find. I'd 100% recommend this place, our room was spotless, the decor is faultless & the bathrooms were perfect, very modern with a bath & a huge walk in shower. We had a modern kitchenette & a small walk in wardrobe.
The staff were lovely, as was the owner.
Great price too.
I'd definitely stay again.
One word of warning steer clear of Caffe Sant'Anna on the next block.. A tourist trap & a rip off. No prices are shown on the menu so they can charge what the like.. We were charge €68 for 2 fruit salads & 3 coffees.

I been here twice. Very good views. I love Rome, where the architecture and landscape looks very good and unique. Love Rome! I also went to the Cathedral, is also very good very nice. The Church has a small shop, you can buy some stuff.

How to be at home. Everything was perfect, room, breakfast, service, staff. The location comment, but I would like to emphasize that, working in the field, I have seen many hotels base their business on excellent location (proximity to the center or to the attractions in Rome as elsewhere), aside from the quality of the service. This is not the case of the Vatican View, where it is clear that the policy is fully oriented to the CRM. It is necessary in our environment to act this way. Good!

Fantastic hotel, unbelievable value. Staff were so friendly and we loved being so close to St Peter's and the Vatican Museum. Room was spotless, shower was powerful and hot (modern bathroom). Would definitely come again.

It's like having your own apartment next to the Vatican. We loved the roof garden for sunsets over Rome.

Great location minutes from the Vatican, decent views from the roof. Staff could be better. Rooms decent enough. The best part is really the location. DO NOT EAT AT RESTAURANTS NEAR HERE.

The room we stayed in was really nice and spacious.
The hotel is very close to St Peter's Square (my wife and I greatly appreciated this because we were visiting Rome for the Wednesday Papal Audience for the blessing for newly weds, so we had to be at St Peter's Square early in the morning in our wedding attire). It was abit more expensive than the other options around the area, but we enjoyed our stay and the convenience of the location. Many food places around the corner along Borgo Pio (some were tourist traps, but there were a few wonderful finds).
