Quadruple room. No emergency lighting nor fire smoke alarm. Fire extinguisher outside the door which is no good in the event of fire inside the room. Nothing to wake you in the event of smoke to evacuate.
Pillows disgusting, filthy. Mattresses poor. . Sheets poor. Split room, 2 beds in one area was like a prison, freezing on one side even with heating. We ended up sleeping in our coats and jumpers. Dark corridors to get to room. Light only works for seconds. Coffee machine had no cups. Would not call this a hotel. More like a room in a side alley. Main hotel entrance shown is not where we were put.
I have no reason to put a poor review only to advise people that this is a dangerous and poor 'hotel' and quite different to the pictures that I booked the room under.

We have chosen a "mansarda" room with a terrace, and it was a great decision - waking up with the church bell ringing was a pleasure for us, the plastic doors provide you an option to stay not disturbed, if you hate any kind of noise. The square itself had such 100% italian atmosphere. I don't understand people complaining about the stairs - the descriptions says it is an ex monastery - why would you expect huge spaces and elevators.

first you need to be able to carry your luggage through a narrow and long stairs . Once you get to the room there's another stairs to get to the room.
hotel smell like mold and the room need a little more cleaning .
shower every time you use will flood the bathroom.
coffee machine was very duty and impossible to use .
Staff is very rude and there's no communication .
the doors have a code and I'm not sure if they change on every guest. one day we arrive and someone open our bags anyone can type the code and get in the property our code was 3559#
there's a guy on the front desk some times in the morning that don't know what he's doing .
many other places to stay around the area .
my recommendation is to stay way from this place !!!

Location is perfect to walk the historic Rome easily. The building is charming as well. Clean is it as well, but the size of the (double) rooms are simply a shame if you want to have a romantic couple stay. Bathroom was super tiny. But the worst of it all is the hotel management. The management absolutely does not know that a customer expects hospitality instead of hostility. It was our worst experience through all our lives.

The hotel is old and terrible, the staff is not helpful at all, the air conditioning in the room does not work even though it is cold, there is a heavy smell in the hotel, if you want to stay as a tent, you can stay. It is never a hotel that should have four stars. I would prefer to stay in a tent instead of staying in this hotel. I was not satisfied at all, although I told them that they should turn on the air conditioner because it was cold, they brought me blankets like they do in an African country. They don't run the air conditioning. This hotel cannot even be two stars, not four stars. As a sustainable tourism auditor, I think this hotel never deserves 4 star quality. You cannot even find a socket to charge your phone in the hotel room.

Didn't get to stay, it was cancelled on me , they wouldn't reply to my emails and messages, booking. Com were as bad, no reply from them about this situation, I've tried for days to contact me and nothing, sham of hotel, judging by other reviews

Experience not to be repeated. The facility rarely answers the phone, not emails or certified e-mails. The site advertises the breakfast offer as non-touristy, in two local bars, but it is completely false, it is not offered! Very small room, without a wardrobe and with a very small bathroom. Difficult to use the toilet as it is almost stuck between the wall and the shower. You can barely get into the shower which doesn't drain the water. Bathroom without toothbrush holder and electrical sockets, there was a socket in front of the bathroom but it didn't work. The only positive note: the location, you are in Trastevere and 15 steps from the bridge to the Tiber Island.

Stayed for 1 night Excellent location, close to bus stops and various clubs for a pleasant evening. The room, although not very large, had everything you needed. Cleanliness was also excellent. Possibility of leaving your luggage in the structure even after check-out.

I stayed for 3 nights with a friend and it was a fantastic experience, our room was 30, which had a beautiful balcony with a very nice view and everything was very clean. The hotel is located in Trastevere, a very entertaining area for nightlife So it is very convenient to go out at night and be able to calmly get to the hotel quite quickly. The entire group of staff from the first moment was very gentle and helpful with us. I really recommend this hotel for people who want to enjoy the center of Rome in a calm and economic way.

From the initial booking all the communication was excellent. They even organised a driver to take us from the airport. Upon arrival the staff were very friendly and exceptionally helpful, we knew we were in good hands. This continued throughout our stay. The actual location is perfect for seeing all the sites and lots of options to eat out. Though obviously not a 5 star hotel the generosity of the staff made it feel special. I would have no hesitation in using it again or recommending it to others.
