All you can wish for when it comes to location. And although it's in the middle of Trastevere, our room was located to the inner part of the building, so very quiet and peaceful.

The apartment is spacious, bathroom is pretty new and kitchen is equipped for the ones that wants to do some cooking themselves.

Giulia, the owner, is most helpful with all questions you'll have.

We are most satisfied and have been here twice.

A decent hotel for the prices. A truly local feel. But expect that when you book here, it's quite popular and busy, both with tourists and locals drinking late into the night in the Piazza to the north. Keep you windows closed unless you want a drunk Italian and an American swearing at each other in their local dialect.

We stayed for two nights, and unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. First, the hot water was inconsistent, making showers uncomfortable. The air conditioning unit was very old and noisy, and using it in the peak of summer gave us headaches—clearly not adequate for the season.
However, the most unpleasant part of our stay came after we left. The host accused us of taking tea bags and some small sweets that were clearly placed in the room for guest use. We found this extremely offensive and disrespectful. As frequent travelers who have stayed in accommodations around the world, this is the first time we’ve been questioned for consuming items typically considered complimentary. If these items are not meant to be touched, perhaps a sign should say: “Tea and coffee are on display only—do not use.”

Thankfully, we were able to change accommodation and had a much better experience with a kind and respectful host in Trastevere. We strongly do not recommend this apartment, especially when there are many better options in the area, both in terms of comfort and hospitality.

The location is central, but that is about all I can say about the place. The mattress had a massive divot in it, which left my husband with back pain. The tray under the air conditioning needed to be emptied every 5 hours or so - I learnt this the hard way when the water spilt everywhere overnight, leaving my bag and clean laundry soaked. It’s also on some kind of eco-setting that repeatedly turns itself on and off again, waking us up throughout the night with loud noises. I actually had to run a white noise app at maximum volume every night to drown this (and also all the street noise) out.

Any attempt at communication via email (this motel is run virtually without an actual front desk) received proforma replies that did not actually address anything. In fact, the one time I did receive a message from a real person, was them asking me to pay the Rome city tax fees.

Our stay was so awful we left a day early. I have no idea how this place has such high ratings, but as a frequent traveller, it is the worst accommodation I have ever had the displeasure of being in.

Great room in a great neighborhood. This room (and bathroom) is large and spacious and met our every need. Giulia was so helpful- if you need a taxi booked just email her the time! Plus this location is unbearable. Outside of the tourist crush in the city center and close to the best restaurants and nightlife in town.

Excellent location and clean room but aircon very noisy and not strong enough. It was located in a small room adjacent to bedroom therefore did not cool the bedroom at all. It is an issue when temperature is 36 degrees Celsius! Also shower super tiny. Could not use it comfortably. Shower head does not adjust either. Overall price is high for wwhat you get.

We stayed in this lovely room for 1 night. Located in the heart of Trastevere, you are steps away from the famous restaurants like Tonnarello. The flat has everything that you need and perhaps more. So much thought has been put into the things that have been kept in the room like sewing kit, makeup removing pads and earbuds, coffee machine, juice, refrigerator, etc. The host has also kept a hand written diary of all the places to discover in the area. Very thoughtful! Would come back again!

Perfect place to stay in Trastevere! Lovely hosts who are very responsive. They were very helpful arranging airport transfers (one of them being early in the AM). Very clean room and comfy bed. It is walking distance from all the places you would want to see in Rome. I would definitely come back!

Comfortable place. Very nice host. But such a loud place at night. Too much noise to sleep through for us. And the shower is very small, could barely move in there. I would still highly recommend it. Clean, safe and great location.

Loved staying here. Nice room (they are actually 2 rooms with a kitchnette) and amenities, great area, very clean. Check in was easy. Had a coffee on the house as soon as we arrived!
