Hotel Oceania in Rome

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Oceania. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating. They made dinner reservations for us at a local restaurant where we ended up eating 3 times! They made breakfast every day for us with lots of fruit, yogurt, fresh baked goods and cappuccino. Also a great location. We would definitely stay again. Thanks so much to them we had a terrific time!

Our stay at this hotel was amazing and they were wonderful with our six year old son. We stayed here six nights and the rooms are large, clean and the breakfast was great. Their americano was delicious! I didn’t even have to leave the hotel to get amazing coffee. They are also within walking distance of many monuments/attractions. We only took cabs at times because it was so hot (and thankfully this hotel had air conditioning). I love smaller family run hotels over larger chains and Hotel Oceania did not disappoint. Shot out to the owners and to Mario on the evening shift!

If you're looking for quaint, quiet, lovely hotel in Rome this is it. Very cozy setting close to main attractions. Stefano and all of the staff are exceptional, attentive to making a stay pleasant The rooms are comfortable, with air conditioning, small fridge. Decor is Italianate as one would expect with a blend of modern conveniences and a preservation of original architectural design and rustic charm. Breakfast is comprised of pastries, fruit, coffee, juice. Quick and simple so one can get on with their day.

What an oasis in this great city! I stayed in a triple room with my children: clean, good quality furniture, soft bed linens, very quiet and efficient air-conditioning, away from street noise or bird noise. Thick curtains for blocking light so that we could sleep in. Bathroom is well stocked with towels. Refrigerator kept our drinking water cool. Room itself is not big and the 3rd bed is not a real bed, in another word: don't expect home level comfort from this hotel. We enjoyed riding the rickety elevator. For improvement: could the rooms be fitted with USB chargers? Maybe softer towels?

Clean and comfortable (air conditioned) rooms, complementary breakfast, and a fantastic staff. It's a calm and relaxing space that is a 15-30 minute walk from almost all major sights in central Rome. Public transit is also easily accessible from the hotel. It's a very good value for what you pay and I strongly recommend it for anyone visiting Rome.

Safe, convenient, charming place. Excellent breakfast. Warm and welcoming staff. As Sri Lankan tourists in our first visit to rome, we found this place amazing. Bonus : You hear tenors and sopranos singing/ practicing for a church sometimes in the evening if you open your widows!

An unusual entry (front desk reception on the 3rd floor) was soon forgotten by the friendly and extremely helpful staff. The room was small, but we'll appointed and the bathroom was excellent.
the location within an 8-10 euro taxi ride to the major attractions and a short walk (15 mins walk from central train station) to some of the best restaurants of the trip made us sad to leave our little home in Rome.

Perfect location in the center on rome. Close all the most importan side to explore in rome. The rooms where comfortably but not beautiful the staff where perfect they did it all to make me happy how to get to places and even other reservations for restotant museum and even. It is a bargaing for my money
