We just needed a place to sleep for the night because it was close to the train station but as soon as the morning came we wanted to get out. It felt unsafe because of the people in that area, smelled like people smoking around us even though we asked for a non smoking area. The bed was squeaky and old, the shower was small and water pressure low. The refrigerator didn't work, it was making water noise so we had yo unplug it. Told management and they said they would bring another one for us but didn't. TV didn't work and wifi had issues. Travels beware!!!

I don’t like that it operates more like an air bnb vs a hotel. We went out for the evening and came back late to find out there was a power outrage. Luckily when we arrived the police and other city workers were handling the problem which lasted to 3 am. We were unable to get into to our room because it operates with an electric key card. I tried contacting the manager on what’s app to asked to be let in our room because we saw a key hole entry to the door. He never picked up. So, me and my husband was stranded on the corner in the middle of the night , so happy police were there and extremely nice. The manager never responded the next day either. I tried contacting him again later in the morning about the check out process, never responded !

In addition the building is old , which didn’t bother me too much, but the lighting through out the building is very dim, I could barely see putting on make up. The room its self is bare but nothing too bad. It is what it is. We were just there for a 2 night stay before our cruise.

The positives is the location! I mean, if it’s your first time in Rome like it was for me, it felt sketchy upon arrival. However, it being so close to the terminal which we depended on for transportation really made it convenient. We saved money not having to pay for a taxi anywhere. We were also able to walk to the Colosseum and had access to a lot of stores,

If it’s in your budget and you want convenience, then go for it. Make sure you ask for a key in case another power outage though.

The only reason I gave this a 4/5 instead of a 5/5 is that the hotel was difficult to get into, we were asked to pay €20 as a “tax” when we arrived even though I paid it in my original booking, and there was no TV in our room like we had paid for. The hotel was difficult to get into because we buzzed/rang the bell multiple times with no response and about 5 minutes later, a younger Asian man opened the door for us (who was a part of the hotel staff) without speaking and we had to find our way up to the 2nd floor and to the hotel. You are given a key tag to access the building and the hotel room itself. The actual hotel felt extremely secure: there is a key tag to get into the building, one to get into the stairwell, one to get into the hotel, and one to get into your room. Overall, I definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a lightly more budget way to visit Rome!

Pros:
- The rooms are cleaned daily
- the AC is great
- previous reviews mention bed bugs, mold, and cockroaches and I did not see any of that even though I took all of the sheets off to check
- the hotel was very quiet
- the location outs you about a 20 minute walk from the Colosseum
- affordability

Cons:
- had to pay our “tourist tax” twice: once online when we booked and once in person by hotel staff who claimed we didn’t pay the tax even though we did
- no TV in our room even though we paid for one
- no breakfast available in the morning even though we paid for it

3 night in Rome. My first time to Europe so not sure what to expect. I’m used to a lobby and people to meet you.

The hotel is very good and in a good location next to Piazza Barberini. The staff was kind and helpful - they addressed all our needs quickly. We enjoyed the room and the breakfast very much. We would happily return for another stay on our next visit in Rome!

The location is accessible, train n' bus station is nearby . The standard room was really small , but was clean , the TV was not functioning. The washroom flush wasn't working properly, it was broken doesn't work most of the time an d takes 3 hours to fill . They also provide complimentary coffee, tea , milk etc.. from the vending machine in common area , but the food tray was always empty. There's a tiny balcony in the common area. There was small refrigerator in the room which produces loud noise . They also had free wifi , with a quiet descent speed . Overall the stay was okay for the price ! .

The hotel rooms are clean and tidy, but small. The bathroom was great by Italian standards. Unfortunately, the hotel is located next to Termini Station. The immediate vicinity of the hotel does not seem safe. The greatest attractions of Rome are 2-3 kilometers away.

Good location, close to the station. The room is quiet and soundproofed. The facilities in the room are average and the hygiene is average
