The room is very small . I booked a room for 3 people and it was very cramped . The bathroom and shower are tiny . The best part about the stay was the location very convenient to most attractions and good restaurants

Amazing stay at Hotel Amalfi. Room was clean and in a convenient part of town. The staff was super helpful and breakfast was amazing. When we come back to Rome, we will stay here again.

Julia, Alessandro, and all the staff were kind, helpful, very knowledgeable. Check-in and check-out were very easy. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious! We were close to Santa Maria Maggiore, where Pope Francis is buried. Restaurants within walking distance.

Hotel Amalfi is a real gem. The rooms were so clean, beds comfortable and nice and quiet given the location. The Aircon in the rooms was heaven after a day exploring in the Italian heat. The rooftop terrace, with the Limoncello Spritz, in the evening was the perfect way to end the day! The staff were so lovely, really friendly and couldn't help enough.

What a fabulous hotel! We had a great room, with comfortable beds, beautiful woodwork and murals on the walls. Plus, the rooms were silenced with thick, double-paned glass. Super quiet. The staff was fantastic. Right in the heart of Rome, not far from the Colosseum.

Highly overrated place, we basically book looking at starts only.
The old man at reception was hardly speaking English and could not provide us much information and was in hurry to go home.
Rooms are so tiny you can't open your bag. There are multiple vents of A/C which were strong and we can not turn it down, One vent was below the table. Lift is very small 1 person could fit with his luggage.
It is near to central station ~1km is the only advantage. Better to check for buses/tram prior visiting Roma and plan your city tour.
Colosseum is at walking distance ~1.2km but you reach at back of the Colosseum and at top. You have to climb down , cross rode, go to the front and then you can enter in Colosseum.

This hotel suffers from several issues that can significantly impact your stay. Rooms are too small. The shower is cramped and practically not usable due to its super small size. No soundproofing at all, so you will hear lots of noises from people next door or the rooms above and below. Surrounding areas and streets are not safe, especially in early morning and evenings. They also had constructions going on every day from 10 am to 1 pm. No prior notice was given to guests. The construction noise was so loud that guests had to exit the hotel and come back every day after 1 pm. You could not stay in the room during those hours, let alone having some rest. Staff were all very friendly and helpful and did what they could to smooth the situation, but there was not much they could do for all the fundamental flaws with this hotel. These issues can make it difficult to relax and enjoy your stay.

The hotel is very small and so are the rooms. The walls are all decorated so that makes it a bit more interesting. The location is very nice. Central to a bunch of bars and away from the touristy areas. The Termini train station is a less than five minute walk. The historic areas where the Trevi fountain and other sights are is around 20 minute walk.
