We stayed for 3 nights and having visited Rome a few times before we decided to stay near the Forum this time. We were greeted at the door and shown up to the roof terrace to wait whilst they checked in another couple before being checked in by Shukri who was very helpful and kindly upgraded our room to the garden suite. The room was huge with everything you needed. The location was great, on a quiet little street so no noise from outside and walking distance to the main sites. Breakfast was nice if a little strange. If you order croissants, you will get 1 croissant, if you order poached eggs, you get them in a bowl so you need to specific if you want them on toast or more than one of something. Coffee and hot chocolate was good and the waiting staff friendly.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The service was exceptional. Adriano, Giordano, Francesa and their staff were helpful, extra cordial. Breakfast is made to order, I ordered two breakfasts one day not fully realizing what I ordered:). the room was clean, all the amenities were included. We were sightseeing most day and had to leave early one day for Positano. They had 2 breakfast bags ready for us to take on the drive. One of the best hotels I have stayed at in a major European city. Highly recommend.

Our recent stay at The Inn at the Roman Forum was excellent. All the staff were extremely professional, friendly and helpful. They went the extra mile to ensure our stay was unforgettable. Breakfast was superb and freshly cooked and the options available ensured that every taste was catered for. The location of the hotel was another plus factor and one of the reasons we chose this hotel as it is within walking distance of a lot of the sites that are a must to visit. We were not disappointed with our stay and if we returned to Rome would certainly stay again at this hotel.

Just got back from fabulous stay at The Inn at Roman Forum and would highly recommend this Inn. The rooms were very nice, clean. The staff was exceptional and catered to our every need, from recommendations to arrangements for cabs, to making sure I had ice every evening for a recent knee replacement. The breakfast was excellent. Turn down bed service to little cookie treats, just topped off the excellent service. It is located on a back street and a three pice group showed up a played music for a couple hours two nights, what a pleasant surprise.

Our experience was similar to others, excellent. You do not come to this property for sleek, modern appointments. You come for the service and the comfort. Yes, this is a very old property (as in historic). But the beds are comfortable, everything works, the HVAC is more than adequate and the staff is as kind, friendly and helpful as the reviews indicate. The breakfast is also generous and impressive considering there is no restaurant on site. It is as gourmet as the one we had in our $1000 per night hotel in Positano, no. Is it very good, with solid quality and ample choice? Absolutely. This is far better than your average sugar/carb fest that comes with some mid priced US hotel free breakfast. There is fresh squeezed orange juice, cappuccino, various eggs, omelettes, salmon, meats, cheeses and plenty of carbs if you like. It will fuel you for the busy day ahead. If you are looking for a freshly renovated high end corporate hotel you will be disappointed. If you are looking for a well located property in a quieter part of Rome with a staff that will do anything within their power to make your stay happy (like getting me distilled water for my CPAP before i arrived), than you will appreciate the Inn at the Roman Forum. Should we be in Rome we would be happy to go back.

I've never stayed at such a wonderful and interesting hotel in my life. Ruins in the basement, a terrace with a view, a location 10 minutes by foot to the Forum, Colosseum, and Michelangelo's Moses: we absolutely loved it. We booked two rooms (one for my wife & I, the other for our sons), and we had a private garden shared just for our two rooms, with lush plants, and seats with an umbrella. After a day of site-seeing, we met in the garden with our sons for drinks. It was so lovely and peaceful I forgot where we were. The rooms were spacious, with high vaulted ceilings, a CA king bed, a mix of old & new decor, and large bathrooms. And the staff of Shukri (the owner), Daniel, Adriano, Pasquale, Eranio, Aiat, and Giordano were phenomenal, friendly, helpful, interesting, industrious people. Our omelettes out on the terrace in the morning, cooked and served by the staff, were fantastic. This Inn is a hidden gem, tucked away on a secluded side street, without even a sign above the entrance to let you know it exists. I'd go back there in a second if I ever returned to Rome.

Amazing staff, location, and attention to detail! The breakfast has something for everyone and you are steps from the Coliseum and Forum, and just minutes from all of the main attractions in historic Rome. Definitely will be back. Eranio Antonio and Daniel are class acts and go above and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect!

The inn at the Roman Forum is a hidden gem in Rome. We booked this hotel because of the many fantastic reviews and we were not disappointed at all. The staff are very helpful and friendly and happily booked our restaurants and taxi before we arrived. The room was lovely, with our own garden area. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The breakfasts were really lovely. Sitting on the roof terrace made this extra special. We would recommend a cocktail in the evening before heading out. We went to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and the hotel has made it truly memorable.

The staff is so helpful and welcoming. Great location to all the historic sites but also a hidden gem away from the chaos of Rome. We enjoyed breakfast on the rooftop overlooking the city. The historic waiting area is incredible. Our room was amazing and so uniquely designed and decorated. We would stay here again and highly recommend to others.
