The Location is excellent. The room was clean. There was no staff to be found.
The one big negative is the accessibility, there is no lift/elevator. Climbing a myriad amount of stairs, especially with suitcases was not pleasurable at all.
I would personally select another location upon my next visit.

Excellent place.. Magnificent location close to every monument, either on foot or a few bus stops away.. Compliments to the cleaning lady.. Kind, helpful, and always did an excellent job.. It's true that there's no one physically in the building, but we felt welcomed as if they were there.. It's true that there are many steps to climb, but we knew that, and compared to the many advantages, it's surpassable.. Just one note.. the armored door was blocked and wouldn't close.. Even if the room was locked for greater security, it would be better to be able to lock the door too, since the bathroom is right there.. Anyway, thank you so much for everything.

My fiancé and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is quite nice and modern, in an excellent location. Our room was spacious and clean and had air conditioning (which was crucial in 40-degree heat). Be careful because there is no elevator and there are many stairs you need to climb before getting to the hotel (which is on the 3rd floor of a building). Important to note that concierge is often not there. My last complaint was that the bathroom was not renovated and there are water stains all over and rusting in the shower. Overall, the inconveniences are overshadowed by the amazing location.

DO NOT STAY HERE We chose this spot for location and found it adequate if charmless. However, the apartment is as others note a fourth floor walk up — we were prepared for that, but because the suite is on the top floor, the day’s heat gathers. The AC in the upper unit has no remote so cannot be turned on; it is not reachable without a tall ladder. So the upper apartment is completely unusable. I bought a thermometer today and it is 86’ F up there right now. We slept together on the main floor for two nights, wrote and called and wrote again, no answer about this ever. Tonight when we can back to the apartment the unit on the main floor was also non functional. Wound up going out and buying new batteries for the remote and hoping that works but it is half past midnight, it is almost 90 degrees here and we have to be out for a tour at 7 am. We are trying to find a booking at a hotel right now as sleeping here is out if the question. I asked if they might even provide a fan bit for no reply of any kind. Horrible.

The location is second to none - Barberini is just a short walk to most of the most famous sites in Rome, plus the Metro is about a 30 second walk away. There are also many nice shops and restaurants literally outside the front door. The room itself was large with two sofa beds and a double bed and a good sized bathroom. The downside is that it is on the 3rd floor and it’s a bit of a trek up but to be honest we enjoyed racing up the stairs every day, plus it’s good exercise. We did have trouble getting up the stairs with the suitcase on our first night but Hassan (who was checking us in) helped. He somehow managed to sprint up the stairs with the 23kg suitcase, which I’m still having trouble comprehending. One downside was that the room we were in was in the roof space so although there were windows, they were more like skylights and we couldn’t see down into the square. The room was always cleaned well everyday with fresh towels etc. The main reason we chose this hotel was that it was a good compromise between location, cost and size. We wanted a decent sized room (as we are a family of 4) but also a good location so that we didn’t have to travel into the centre everyday. Other places either looked a bit dingy or were hugely more expensive. Overall, I’m very glad we chose this place.

Absolutely great place to stay. The owner was such a delightful. She made the trek up the stairs worth it. So very gracious and caring. Location was perfect for activities and eating.

Nice stay here. Clean and comfortable rooms. You did need to walk up a few flights of stairs to get to your room but it wasn’t too bad. Nice location in terms of being central to the major tourist spots. We walked everywhere in Rome and found our hotel to be in the middle of most of them. The signage out side the hotel is very hard to see, especially after a long day of travel. We would stay here again!

Great 2 star hotel, we loved it because it was located in a very central location where it is close to every sightseeing and touristic spots yet its not packed with tourist. although it does get a bit loud at night but the windows are sound proof so as long as their closed you should be fine. We had a room with a Juliet balcony facing Piazza Barberini that made having breakfast breakfast in bed even better. speaking about breakfast this hotel serves i must say a really good breakfast nothing fancy but just what you need to start your day. Coffee, cappuccino, espresso or tea accompanied by croissant, cookies, yogurt and juice. the only thing we weren't a fan of was the fact that it was on the last floor and no elevator. so a tip to you make sure you turn on the lights as you go up because the turn off automatically. other than that i definitely recommend it.
