The hotel is located in a calm area, away from the rush yet still connected to the city. It felt safe, comfortable, and easy to navigate. The kind of place where you can breathe after a long day and still be close enough to everything you need.
The room was clean and functional, not luxurious but honest in its comfort. The bed was good, the shower worked perfectly, and the space had a certain simplicity that helped me rest well.
Breakfast was modest but done with care. There was always good coffee and a quiet space to start the day slowly. Sometimes that’s all you need before another day of travel or meetings.
What I appreciated most was the staff. They were kind in small ways that felt genuine, not forced. A smile at check-in, a quick help when needed, a quiet sense of welcome that made the stay feel personal.
Hotel was easy to access, staff excellent both friendly and very helpful. Room was clean and well laid out but a bit small for the price. Breakfast was buffet with good selection and fresh produce.
They’re currently undergoing renovations which wasn’t clear when I booked through booking.com but that’s okay, I ended up staying out a lot during the day. This is not a problem at night so, perfectly fine if you’re out and about during the day!
The major downside though was that the renovations meant there is only one SMALL operating lift which takes FOREVERRRRRR during the mornings to get down. I gave myself 50 minutes to walk from the hotel (7 min walk) & catch my train from Termini which is ample amount of time but, spent about 25 minutes of that waiting for a lift. This is outrageous and ALMOST made me miss my train.
If the renovations are ongoing and will happen for a while, they need to re-think the use of this elevator.
