Slightly away the termini which is a good thing. Cafe in the area are more local, neighbourhood friendly. Way cheaper than termini tourist trap. Feel safe in this area and this hotel. Would prefer stay in this rather than at termini area.

The overall style is old school (not in a negative sense), and the room facilities are adequate.

The way the duvet and cover are folded takes some getting used to.

The attic room on the top floor feels a bit stuffy.

Overall, the experience was acceptable.

My second stay at this hotel. I don't understand some of the negative reviews. Yes the lobby furniture might be a bit out dated - who cares? The rooms are very clean. The balcony to our room was lovely to sit out on and have a glass of wine of your morning coffee. Bathroom in our room was large. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast had a nice selection of food including fresh fruit. I like having a key to the room as opposed to a swipe card - very European feel :) Yes you are asked to leave it at the front desk when you go out - big deal. My only bit of negativity (and I have been all over Europe and it is the same everywhere) is that there are no screens on the windows. I would love to be able to keep the windows open for some fresh air but without screens, I won't. The bathroom does not have a fan, so to be able to open the window would be great. The front desk staff were accommodating and polite. It is a 5 minute walk to the subway and busses run regularly in front of the hotel. There is a supermarket within eye sight as well as a restaurant. I really like this hotel and have no hesitation recommending it to you! Happy travels.

Actually everything is good, the furniture is just a bit older, so it's not particularly modern. On top of that, we only had one power socket in the whole room, not even in the bathroom. The bar in the room was empty. Breakfast was cold, there wasn't much choice in terms of hearty food, just boiled eggs, omelettes and potatoes with sausage, the bread was hard, there was only sausage and cheese toppings, no cucumbers, tomatoes, etc.. but a slightly larger selection of desserts. (Too sweet in my opinion). But the hotel itself is nice and clean and the staff is friendly. I can generally recommend it.

When they give you room 605, don’t accept it. Unless you don’t mind to have a room without outside view, only a window to get some fresh air. It’s very close to busy roads, so you will hear sirenes and car horns very often.

The staffs aren’t welcoming and friendly, except the young man who works during the breakfast time. Breakfast is sufficient, unfortunately no fresh vegetables like tomato or cucumber. The only produce they serve is fruit.

Location is close to the bus stop, around 10 minutes walking to the metro station. There are some restaurants and a 24 hours supermarket in the walking distance.

We got a room on the second floor.

The good things:
- The room is clean!
- The bed was comfortable.
- Staff is nice and friendly.
- Breakfast is affordable!
- It’s far from the city center but very well connected (both bus and metro)!

The bad things:
- The room is very very noisy! We woke up every night with the traffic noise.
- The bathtub was leaking water everywhere and every day the bathroom was soaked!

Overall, not a bad stay… but not sure we would do it again!
