No 9 Colosseo Roma in Rome

The view from the hotel room was fabulous. Overall it was a good stay. However, the rooms could use some work. The walls were crumbing apart, the bathroom was rather moldy and the tiles behind the toilet were falling. The staff was nice. It's a very busy street and can be difficult to find the hotel at first. They don't have a sign and on the buzzer it was under a different name than the hotel. All the walking tours would line up and meet right at the doors as well.

Amazing location and views! Numerous restaurants to choose from. Highly recommend Propaganda. Very convenient taxi stand at the end of the short block. Lively entertainment around the Colosseum. If you miss this gem you’re missing out.

You can’t see any sign at the door when you take a taxi (it’s a taxi waiting area at the door, which is more convenient and cheaper to go to the airport than calling a pick-up). Lovely experience in a beautiful clean big room 2 minutes from the Colosseum. The check in and check out was smooth and the receptionist super helpful and nice. Great choice!
