Pyramid Hotel in Rome

Very bad. Poor breakfast. Bad coffee. For one smoked cigarette they apply 100 euro ticket. Unbelievable. Like a bad policeman they start to shout against me.

Apart from the location which is useful because it is central, close to the weather pyramid, the hotel is noisy because it is above a pub and opposite a bar open until 4am on weekends. We spent 3 nights there and the paper walls allowed us to hear everything that was happening around but not to rest. We could hear noises in the room above, like the person was moving the room all evening. We would have liked 1 kettle in the room rather than the bubble bath

I'll start with the only two positive things. The girl at the reception was very kind and the cleanliness of the rooms was excellent. Upon our arrival we noticed an error in the reservation made on *********** for only one person, instead of two. Having noticed the error, the girl at reception did everything she could to find us a suitable room and resolved the problem peremptorily. The rooms are old and a little dated but very clean. And now the sore notes. The structure is very dated, the entrance shows 3 star quality but I highly doubt it. The building is located next to nightclubs that play loud music until late at night on weekends, and the soundproofing of the rooms for sounds coming from outside is not the best. As for the sounds coming from other rooms... let's draw a veil over it. Saying that "you can hear everything" is an understatement (and he didn't go into detail about what you can hear because it's also a bit embarrassing). I suggest earplugs provided (at least listening to music and sounds of the surrounding environment becomes the customer's choice). THE BREAKFAST. As Bruno Barbieri usually asks 4 Hotel, “Is breakfast worth the trip”? But also not! Although I must say that the pastas were not bad at all, the choice is truly reductive and if you come from a country with a culture completely different from the Italian one or if you obey a certain diet the choice is almost ZERO. In their defense, however, I can say that the charge for breakfast is only €5 per day. PS: go down to the very well-stocked bar downstairs with fresh products and you will spend an average of €5.5 for a breakfast for 2 people. Thanks me later!
