Malkavacanze B&B in Rome

We traveled to Italy from the United States after a long flight and arrived at Malka Vacanze B&B feeling quite tired. To our delight, Luigi was already outside waiting to greet us. His warm smile and kind words immediately lifted our spirits and made us feel welcome.

As a very detail-oriented and selective traveler, I do not give high ratings lightly, but I confidently rate this property five stars.

The location is excellent—within a few steps of the Pam supermarket (which offers very reasonable prices, even on bottled water for groups), as well as pizzerias, a gas station, and several restaurants. Roma S. Pietro train station is only a short walk away, providing convenient access to many destinations.

The room was impeccably clean and free of fragrances or odors, which I greatly appreciated due to my allergies. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and amenities such as a coffee maker and electric kettle were available. I felt completely at ease, as though I were in my own home.

The refrigerator was thoughtfully stocked with milk, juice, and butter, and a tray of individually wrapped snacks and bread was provided for breakfast.

I also appreciated that the bathroom window could be opened for fresh air, and the property felt very safe. While many places in Italy do not have window screens, we were fortunate to experience no issues with insects here.

We stayed for four nights, from September 4–8, and would gladly return to Malka Vacanze B&B on any future trip to Italy.

Loved our host, Luigi—some minor issues with the lift, at times. Spotless, all we needed, close to our Vatican appointments. Walked to so many points in Rome—good location!

It was clean. Good location. Accesible. Very close to Vatican and there are many restaurants available walking distance. Owner is super nice. She provided a map of the city. Also, there was easy communication via text messages. Only inconvenience was check in process as nobody was there waiting for us and phone numbers on reservation were out of service. Somehow, we were able to find a working phone number at the building and owner arrived within 10 minutes. Other than that, it was good a place. Continental breakfast included at a nearby bakery. Airport shuttle can be booked through owner at a separate cost.

Very cozy, clean and tidy accommodation. Location was excellent - just 5min walk to reach St. Peter's Square. We spend there 3 nights. The room was well furnished - TV, air condition, hair dryer, minibar fridge. The owner provide voucher for breakfast in Cresci coffee shop.
We'll definitely come back in the future.

Budget accomandation and for the price I must give 4*.
The place is really clean, we got a coffee and tea bags every day (cattle in the room provided).

The place where this accomandation is situated is great. It's close to places you probably plan to go when visiting Rome.

Unfortunately, the walls here are like a paper and you're surrounded by many flats. We had no problem with the noise from street, as it is calm here, but we had a noisy neighbours the first night and I couldn't sleep because of it until 4am! So if you're light sleeper like me and if you get unfortunate with neighbours, then you get tough time.
I was lucky that so far no more problems with noise after that bad 1st night and so I sleep like a baby :-D

The owner is a very nice guy. I would come again if it's only for couple of nights.

This place was beautiful. The room was lovely, the host was so nice and accommodating, room was sparkling clean, breakfast, great location. This B&B was one of my fav things about Rome! 😊 A real credit to the staff and owners! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
