Totally don't recommend this place. The owner (or receptionist, who knows) *accidently* gave me keys to a different room when I arrived in the middle of the night, super tired.

The next day he came to my room super angry at me saying that I should pay extra for this room (because it's bigger), while he was the one who gave me the keys!

That was of course a trick to get 10 euros from me. What I can say: what other people say about the owner being not financially honest.

It's super sad that someone needs to do such things to get 10 euros instead of doing honest work. Good luck to you if you're reading this, hopefully you will find more meaning in your life.

Rip off don't book this accommodation
We arrived arrived at the Hotel 00:30 with 2 sleeping babies... didn't want to give us the room as being told need to upgrade the room for 4 adults.
I had to pay extra 41 euros for a room at the 5th floor that was very hot and humid.... The room wasn't ventilated and for air condition you need to pay an extra 10 euros....
Booking.com price was including local tax and I had to pay again at the Hotel the local tax to be able to have the room and put my family to sleep.
Totally rip off of your money and dated accommodation..... The guy at the reception is very rude and not helpfull at all.
The reason I've booked the hotel as it was cheap for just 5 hour sleep, at the end turn out to be more expensive then better accommodations available around....
I'm from Rome and can tell you that I don't recommend this place.

A terrible experience for several reasons: the room is extremely hot and suffocating; the air conditioning they claim to provide requires an additional €15 per day; hair on the sheets and ants on the mattress; and the wifi doesn't work. In case of emergency, you can't contact anyone because the number they provide is for the receptionist, who is closed from 7:00 PM to 9:00 AM. So, if you have any problems, like we did (the door to the corridor to the rooms doesn't lock properly), you'll be left to spend the night on the stairs. I strongly advise against staying here; the only positive is its proximity to Termini Station, but otherwise, it's not worth it. If I could, I'd give it 0 stars.

The hotel is situated about 5 mins walk (with luggage) from Termini otherwise it is 2 mins. Right next door there is a bar (an Italian bar) where in the morning you can have your cappucino and cornetto, or omlette. Across the street and next door (on the other side from the bar) are some restaurants. There are also numerous other restaurants in the area if the ones in the same street are not for you. My room was clean when I arrived and always cleaned. I had the keys for all the doors and could come and go as I pleased. My only big "problem" (I am celiac) with my room was that in the morning a beautiful, sweet smell of fresh cornetti and other delicacies baking wafted in. The hotel is on the 3rd floor - there is an elevator. The problem is that to reach the elevator there are about 8 steps up which you will need to carry luggage so if you are travelling heavy it could be a bit of a problem. The elevator is also very small - 2 persons with backpacks and/or luggage will not fit in and have to go up one a time. Not a big negative all in all.

Good price for value, perfect location, 3 min walk from Termini train station, 20 min from downtown. Marco was very friendly! Clean place and the view from our balcony was so cozy. And most importantly it was clean! Recommend it, we were satisfied! We were 3 people in a private room with a private bathroom.

Clean room, clean bathroom, hot water, central heating does it's job. Hair dryer too.
A budget hotel which worth staying.

Terrible experience ... you have to pay extra for the air conditioner. Outside the hotel is really loud.

Location is conveniently close to trains, buses and the tube. While not having beautiful rooms, the service was top notch nonetheless, both in care and in timing. I'd definitely stay here again, especially given the prices.

The owner and also receptionist (Marco) is an opportunist! The management is terrible. We had told them that we would arrive later and I asked Mr. Marco to confirm that would be somebody waiting for us, he only answered with "Thanks" "Ok" but never answered the question directly, I started to worry and called them... then SURPRISE: Extra fee!! To confirm per email that somebody would be waiting for us they want to charge 20€! He offended us several times and told us loudly that we should contact Booking, as we booked though them! Booking contacted them and he pretended that he did not speak any English at all, luckily for Booking they had a Italian worker! THERE WAS NO INTERNET FOR THE WHOLE WEEK WE STAYED THERE! NO RECEPTION as they leave and come when they want. We had to wait half an hour to check out, as Mr. Marcos would charge extra for late check out even though he wasn't there to check out. Room clean service very poor and beds are very small.

Very good hotel, clean rooms, very friendly owner, would recommend it for a holiday in Rome. Exiting from the hotel, a good bar and an excellent pizzeria/trattoria. Thank you so much.
