Excellent property within walking distance of the Vatican. Easy access to public transportation to view the sights around Rome and dining options around the building.

Sleeping in the shadow of the Vatican in a great apartment was a once in a lifetime experience. Good hosts, and very, very clean.

Great location, friendly host....will use again
We stayed here for 3 nights and were really pleased with our experience. The hotel is conveniently located near to the Vatican City and within a 5 minute walk to the nearest Ottaviano Metro with local bus stops literally on the door step. The nearest Metro was about a 20 minute journey to the main Termini station where we were then able to get a train to and from the airport which took about an hour. The café for breakfast was lovely and located literally a minutes walk away, we were given vouchers to use where there were 3 menu choices available however we were able to swap these for other items available with ease. Tommy was a pleasure to meet and was kind, helpful and responsive to any questions that we had. The hotel room was simple but had all of the amenities that we needed for our stay, with tea and coffee making facilities, a safe and air conditioning. We would absolutely stay again and would recommend to anyone looking for a simple stay in a great location with a friendly host.

Terrible experience. They charged us for 4 days but took the keys after 1 night when we complained the accomodation is on an active construction site. The lift is faulty, the mattress is breaking and uncomfortable, the pillows are old, the aircon is faulty. The manager told us " we were mistaken" and refused to refund us for any portion of the trip. They said they had already been paid. I am appalled by the service and the treatment of tourists. Poor accomodation, poor service and marketed falsy - I cannot believe these good reviews because the other guests we spoke to also said they were unhappy and their aircon was faulty and they could not sleep with the construction site in the same building (directly above work onto the ceiling)

Went to Rome for the Coldplay concert. Booked this accomodation based on good reviews, but those must be false. The place is not in good condition, old mattress, old towels, poor quality pillows, no refilled coffee or tea in the communal kitchen, poor service and a faulty lift so you need to walk up 3 flights of stairs with luggage. The lift kept getting stuck halfway between 2nd and 3rd floors - which was scary.

Building noise throughout the day, cannot sleep or rest. We contacted the manager and they were very rude, it was disappointing to have our trip to Rome spoilt by this venue. The aircon despite being set to 18degrees didn’t go below 28degrees. When the hotel said it was working? Gaslighting. The manager response: “ I'm afraid you're the one who doesn't understand that what happened with the noise is in no way within our control. And the air conditioning works perfectly, so I don't understand your wrong report to booking. You could easily stay with us, we reported the deafening noise to the owner of the apartment above and they would start the work later tomorrow morning. Feel free to do what you think is necessary with booking”

Pillows (one each) hard and flat. Mattress old and probably the end of its life. Air con not working properly (18degree set but 26deg in reality) toilet leaking so sound. Then woken up to a build site directly above us. So 8am heavy duty drilling. I’m hot. My back hurts from this bed. We want to cancel and are waiting for the place to refund us. It’s not an apartment - it’s a dorm room. The breakfast only includes ham sandwich, pancakes or scrambled egg FYI. No catering for vegans. For the price it’s a rip off.

The room facilities are ok, it is very convenient to be close to the Vatican and the subway is also very close. But the downside is that there is no kettle and no Sekou cup in the bathroom. Moreover, there was no one to answer the front desk, and the door was locked, so you had to call to make an appointment. This is inconvenient for overseas customers!

A no nonsense hotel great situated
Super nice, very simple no nonsense hotel. It is what is is, no real hotel lobby, no restaurant - breakfast in a nearby restaurant which was ok.
