Seedy atmosphere and unpleasant stay. A rather damp smell and tired room with cushions on stools for bedside tables and a yellowing worn bedstead. Not the owners fault but walls are thin and we could hear a woman copulating shortly after we arrived and then again at 1am which woke us up. I would definitely give this place a miss.

Good location. Very small room. Breakfast is no longer provided. There is no reception area available. Prior to arriving, instructions are provided on how to enter the building. There are three keys. One to open the front door from the street. Upon entering, the ground floor is dark, old and disused with no one around. After taking the small rickety lift to the first floor we walk down a corridor and use the second key to enter another empty space until we reach a hallway to the row of rooms. Key number 3 allows us to enter a very small room. No cupboard for clothes. At the end of the corridor is a room with a “Reception” sign on it. The room, no bigger than a small bathroom, has a small desk in it. I think the lady also does the cleaning. Her only communication was to ask us to pay the additional daily tax. I wouldn’t recommend staying there as there are Hotels that are also close to Roma Termini.

Locted ＜10 minutes by foot from Termini, along via Cavour the location couldnt be more convenient. We always stay around the Monti/Esqulino area, while in Rome - so the Colosseum, Forums etc. and the attractions of the centro stroico are walking distance, though you could easily hop onto the metro for places further away (like we did to get to the Testaccio market) or if your feet are complaining. The B&B is actually located on the first floor (elevator available) of a large building on via Cavour (self check in was easy). The Asian staff are helpful - handed over keys and facilitated a slightly early check in. The room was clean and comfortable, perfect for an overnighter and the double glazed windows cut out the street noise quite effectively. I'm not sure if this is seasonal, but breakfast was not included. A bottle of water in the fridge might have been weclome on arrival. So if you're looking for comfort and convenience over luxury and atmosphere for a short stay, this is probably a very good choice, in a city where quality accomodation at sensible prices is becomnig harder to find.

I stayed at this hotel for one night because I had an early train the next morning. First the pros: convenient to train station, air conditioned. Now the cons: musty smell, worn out looking. There was no reception for our late arrival or early departure but that was ok because we were provided with explicit entry instructions. There are plenty of restaurants in the area but like all major cities, the area around the train staion is seedy. It's ok for one night but I would not make it a base for an entire vacation. The musty smell was nauseating.

My friend and I had a great one night stay! Instructions for check in were easy and we had a transfer from the airport coordinated for us! Breakfast was a plus and convenient location to the termini train station.. we also walked to many of Romes most notable landmarks. For anyone making a train connection, this is a great option!

Excellent Hotel
Our room was small but it was very efficient and comfortable. We had everything we needed. Our breakfast — which was truly excellent — was delivered to our room at the time of our choosing. The location of the hotel is close to Termini Rome train station. The only problem we had was that we arrived after 6:00 P.M., when the front desk is no longer attended. We had instructions on how to enter the building, but the door did not open when we rang the bell. Eventually, another hotel guest returned from dinner and he let us in, where we used our code for the hotel and found our key. It could have been a major problem and forced us to find a different hotel rather late at night.

One Night in Roma
Relais was clean and conveniently located to many sites.It was quiet with adequate space. Breakfast was preordered the night before and served promptly the next morning. Would definitely recommend.
