Great place in the centre of Alassio. Easy to get to from the train station. Nice clean bedrooms. A fantastic breakfast. Helpful reception staff.

We recently visited the spa, and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. The facility was dirty, with empty, dirty cups left next to the pool. The sauna was broken, and despite our requests to have it fixed, it remained unusable. Additionally, the manager, Dominic, was extremely unfriendly and refused to offer any partial refund for the issues we encountered. We were thoroughly let down.

We were here for the sauna - it was dirty and broken (guess this reflects the condition the rooms are in).
Way worse than that was the disrespectful reaction of the manager. He would not see anything wrong with taking money from his guests for broken things.
After all, the tourists come anyway, right?

Went to the little Spa today, unfortunately the Sauna didn‘t work (even after asking them to fix it). The employee Domenico refused to give us a discount on the price and also refused to let us talk with the manager of the hotel to ask for part of our money back.
If there is any problem at this place you can‘t be sure that the employees try to find a solution that it satisfying for you what is very disappointing.
Also the Spa was very dirty, but the sea view is nice.

Overall a great property. The staff was very friendly and all spoke excellent English. The breakfast was above expectations.
The only reason I did not rate it 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ was because unfortunately there was a cover for the roller blinds that kept us up as it was windy outside and it was not properly fastened. I could not identify what was making the noise until the morning, but notified the front desk of the problem.

A little more care, this could be a great hotel
This could be a great hotel with a spa and gym, in a perfect position, good choice at breakfast and lovely staff. But it has not been maintained. While we were there, the spa was closed because the roof had fallen in, the lift broke down and was still out of action on the day we left, the door to the gym would not close, there weren’t enough sockets for the gym equipment and some did not even have electrical leads.

No cleanliness of the room, dirty tub in the bathroom and leaking bidet, smelly drains, poor breakfast and when we pointed this out at 9.30am (there was still an hour left before the breakfast room closed) a small replacement was made !
