It's a family house: beautiful gardens and warmed pool and spa, you cannot use, constantly video surveillance by maids and employees.you seat at garden,Right after they come to control the place, noisy as pool in construction next by. Dog unfriend and racists. Beautiful house as facade, small rooms , and at the end, they threatened you to call the police to get rid of you after you paid. They need to abase you, at the end, Liguria small mentality. So long my friend. My grandma use to say: to great boats great storms!

Villa Elisa is a very special place and even after 7 days we didn't really want to leave! It is a beautiful house set in lush tropical gardens but with the convenience of being in the middle of Bordighera. From the moment we arrived I knew we would love it. Theresa the hotel cat was a little darling and she made our stay feel cosy and homely. We will miss her very much! The pool is really great and the breakfast was fantastic. I'm gluten free and it was no problem at all. We ate in the garden several times as it was so beautiful. Our bathroom was a little dated and our room wasn't enormous but it had everything we needed and was very pretty. Plus compared to other places it was very reasonably priced! The most special thing though (apart from Theresa of course!) was the people who looked after us. Everyone was warm and welcoming and nothing was a bother. It really made it into a hotel where we will hopefully return again like several other guests in the past! Thank you for making our first time in Bordighera amazing!

We LOVED this boutique hotel while our son was attending the Piatti Tennis center. The staff's attention to detail - especially Francesca at the front desk made our 4 day stay so enjoyable. We had two rooms - a triple suite on the first floor that had not been redone yet, (but still had so much charm) and a double on the second floor that had been remodeled. Traveling from the US will little Italian language skills they made our stay in Bordighera even better given the little english that is spoken in the town. The pool was perfect after a long day at the beach and tennis!

We spent four nights at Villa Elisa, and enjoyed every minute. All the staff we met were helpful, friendly and professional, and we felt extremely well looked-after. The rooms were immaculately clean, with good air conditioning. The pool is gorgeous. And the breakfast was brilliant. We had very helpful communication before our booking, and that level of customer care was maintained throughout our stay.

INCREDIBLE STAY. I celebrated my 30th birthday here with 6 family members, and I cannot express how amazing our stay here was. The staff were brilliant, and even gave me a birthday card signed from the team. The rooms were lovely, the pool was great, the building is stunning and the garden is a work of art. We couldn't have asked for anything more. I cannot reccommend Hotel Villa Elisa more, and will certainly be coming back. Thank you again, to all the staff and a special thank you to Teresa.

Can I simply add to the overwhelmingly positive reviews that this hotel receives? It has lovely outdoor spaces and gardens, a very good and clean pool area and lovey staff. The breakfast choices are excellent as well. Would recommend to anyone.

A lovely traditional villa now hotel with fabulous swimming pool area with showers and toilets and gardens and a very good spa all at very reasonable prices especially if booked direct! The buffet breakfast is excellent and can be had in your room if you serve yourself and collect on a tray. We booked direct and got a discount on a comfort room (114) with good sized balcony and free spa for an hour each day (best to book). We also booked a very good massage each. The room was adequate and bed comfortable but the shower was a little cramped. The air conditioning was very good. Lunchtime snacks can be ordered near the pool area and the bar is open all hours. The parking is on quite a steep area at the back of the hotel and there are quite a few steps to carry your luggage down . There is a lift in the hotel. The hotel is about a 15 min walk down the hill to the closest restaurants and a little further to the sea front. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. I certainly hope to return again one day.

Wonderful hotel on a gem of a town. Old world charm in a perfect setting. Breakfast was wonderful. Fresh pastries, bread and fruit. Lovely pool with food and drinks available. Only thing is the rooms are a bit dated, but all in keeping with the local architecture and area. Don’t go to Nice or Monaco. Go to Bordighera instead and you won’t regret it! Do take the ‘monet walk’ from the old town as it is stunning.

Staying at the Villa Elisa was such a pleasant experience. It has a nice old-world charm and a lush private garden outside--it feels very special. And the grounds are sufficiently elevated from the street level so it feels like being in another world. The hotel is also very clean and the people helping guests are super friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!
