Eveline Portosole Hotel in Sanremo

Great place great breakfast excellent staff and wonderful room lots of beautiful flowers inside and out 👍👍👍

If you are tired of staying in bland, faceless hotels then try the Eveline Portosole Hotel in beautiful Sanremo which is classy, characterful, super friendly and very comfortable. The owner Chechilia adores flowers and water in equal measure and these themes resonate throughout the hotel. On arrival, the entrance, reception and breakfast room are festooned with orchids, roses and other beautiful flowers which leave an amazing scent which I can smell as I write this review. On entering the lobby, you are greeted by two huge water filled cauldrons with floating roses and as you move into the reception area you catch the steady burbling flow of water from replica stone fountains in the nearby breakfast room. Breakfast itself is absolutely amazing, I have not stayed anywhere with the range, quality and freshness of the food available and this is all set in beautiful surroundings so if you have the time, breakfast at the Eveline is a lovely place to linger and enjoy the ambience and culinary experience. Having stayed here a few times now, I know the rooms are each unique and full of character most, if not all, have an enormous bath each of a different type, again for you to linger in and enjoy. The rooms are also very comfortable, clean and practical. It is fair to say that the Corso Cavallotti is a busy road from which traffic noise does reach the rooms on the street side. I have never found this to be a problem but if you are a light sleeper then it is best to ask for a room on the other side to ensure a good night’s sleep. Location wise, the Eveline is ideal with only a short walk into town or a two-minute stroll down to the sea front by the new marina with a nice, safe pedestrian and cycle route going in either direction. Just next to the Eveline are some beautiful botanical gardens which include a large pond and waterfall containing a large colony or turtles which will entrance children and adults alike. If you are going further afield then the Sanremo train station is also only a couple of minutes away which is a real bonus especially if you have luggage to carry. Outside there is also a very nice sitting area next to relax with a coffee or an aperitivo under the Olive and other trees. Needless to say, Chechilia, her deputy Christian and the rest of the staff are all very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. All in all, if you want an experience to remember for a reasonable price rather than just a service then I would thoroughly recommend the Eveline Portosole Hotel.

Perfect. A must stay

On a rather busy road, 10 minutes walk from the center and close to the sea ((Portosole) Little parking. Spectacular entrance and ground floor with flowers and candle holders. Courteous welcome. Bright and spacious superior room, equipped with the main comforts. A little 'anonymous due to lack of color and personality'. A few fixtures to fix. Good buffet breakfast, plentiful and satisfying, in a beautiful lounge. Well-laid tables, flowers, quality crockery. Adequate price for Sanremo. Appreciable check out at 12. A good stay

Excellent hotel practically in the center, very convenient location. The atmosphere is slightly retro but very elegant, every space is very clean with an intense scent of fresh flowers. The staff is professional and nothing short of exquisite. Breakfast is excellent in a very nice room, the buffet offers a varied sweet and savory choice.

What to say ? Incredible room, exceptional bedding, magnificent and very clean bathroom, room service always perfect, breakfast to die for, very very clean hotel, small room fridge always stocked with very cold water, air conditioning, for our apart from a small terrace which overlooks a garden and a basketball court which is really very pleasant for the Italian atmosphere, smoking area, dog friendly ++++++, beach towel available, in the heart of SanRemo…. If I had to rate the entire hotel I would tell you that it fully deserves its 4 stars (or more), however... the staff is INCREDIBLE, takes great care of its customers, helps you book activities, give you good tips for the city, good restaurants, apply 300% to offer you a welcome and magnificently delicious meals (the breakfast is incredible), every day is a good day when we meet their smiles, we We are won over, from top to bottom and we think that the hotel deserves one more star, just for them!!! ♥️

Charming and romantic hotel! The always fresh flowers in the entrance and the dining room, the exceptional breakfast! We stayed there for 8 nights and I must say that our vacation was wonderful, largely thanks to the staff ♥️ big crush! We will come back !! Dogs allowed and well treated ♥️

The top elegant and refined structure with attention to detail for the ceramics and floral arrangements present not only in the rooms but also in the public areas you are exceptional well done keep it up

Good and comfy hotel for business trip. The crew did its best to make sure I am comfortable throughout my stay. In addition, the room is fully refurbished and has all needed amenties. The breakfast is very basic, good enough, but not varied. I'm terms of location, it's 2 minutes from the boardwalk and 10-15 minutes walk from the center of San Remo. Overall, It is a very good 3 star hotel and covers all you need for that.
