Piccolo Lido in Bordighera

The food in the Hotel Piccolo Lido is for me the very best of any restaurant I have been to in Northern Italy.

This is why I have been there a dozen times in the last few years. I have tried many others and this place wins hands down. No question. Why?

The food is magnificent and reasonably priced. Their sea food pasta is unbeatable (see attached photo) as well as the whole fish cooked with olives and potatoes.

It’s not just the food that is great. The service is exceptional. The owners are often present and always ultra welcoming. And the staff always provide amazingly warm Italian customer service. It’s what makes this place ultra special.

Location is great right next to the sea (see attached) and I always look forward to a swim in the crystal clear blue water after eating.

Not to be missed! Can’t wait to return!

Wonderfull

Excellent position, with a private garage parking, for extra cost. The street is very popular between tourist.

All good. Park at front to unload or face steep steps. Well organised and friendly. Good sized rooms. Breakfast fine. If you need parking, book it in advance. Civic works currently spoil the sea view.
