Hotel Rex in Lucca

Lovely and nice hotel. The front desk are friendly and helpful. Just outside the train station and easy to access.

Great location when arriving by train, close to both station and the city walls. 10mins walk to the parkrun start if attending. Room had everything needed. Plenty of hot water, mini fridge and tea and coffee plus biscuits. Continental breakfast was included but only served until 10am. Perfect for me as a solo traveller and I would stay again if in the area.

What a gem! Right by the train station, 3 mins from the historic walls of the city. A charming hotel with personal touches.

This traditional Italian hotel next to Lucca train station has a long history, as I learned from newspaper clippings. Its location is very convenient, it's family-run, warmly decorated, and the owner and staff are very welcoming, making it a comfortable place to stay. Breakfast is a buffet, and you can order coffee from the staff. The ice cream shop next to the hotel is also excellent and shouldn't be missed.

Older style hotel with all the courtesies and extras. You could not be located better near pisa centrale and main entrance through city wall.

I was very satisfied with the 4 days. I had the warm feeling of home and felt the old Italian style hotel. It is right after the station. It is very convenient to get around. It is also opposite to the old town. Lucca is a place worth staying for a few days and strolling around. medieval city

The hotel is very close to Lucca Train Station, and the hotel is on the right after exiting the station. This is an older hotel, with large rooms and high pitches, complete basic facilities, large windows, and good ventilation and lighting.
