Everything you would expect from a Four Seasons and more! The location is prime. The staff could not have been more friendly or more accommodating. The hotel is beautifully decorated, and has an amazing history. It was a former convent. They have a fabulous spa and restaurants.

Don’t be fooled by the pictures of the spa! You have to pre-book a slot, it’s only open from 5pm and it’s €30 per person per visit. If you check the small print it does say there is an additional fee…but I think it’s very misleading. I was in Italy for a business trip, and Milan was my transit hub, making it super convenient to get to Turin, Verona, and Venice. This hotel was a great choice for everything except one minor drawback: it's a bit far from the metro station, about a 15-minute walk. However, bus route 42 goes directly to the train station, and routes 43 and 81 pass through the city center. Overall, I'm satisfied.

A great stay overall, but somewhat overpriced. The lobby area, elevators and other parts of the hotel reveal the hotel's old age, however the rooms a newly renovates, clean and comfortable. The breakfast is standard. Weirdly enough, there is no do-it-yourself coffee/tea option – these must be ordered from the staff.
