Hotel Scintilla is a family-runned company. The staff was always ready to help and give us information. They made us feel home. The rooms were very clean. Dinner was always delicious and they offered typical Sardinian dishes. The hotel is located near by the beautiful La Cinta-beach and on 5 minutes walking distance from the centre of San Teodoro. Hello. The hotel location was excellent. The room was clean but average. The bed was uncomfortable and the decor was spartan. Adequate but nothing special. The breakfast was limited though the setting on the upper floor was a plus. They would due well to take better advantage of the stunning rooftop space they have available. I really liked this hotel! It's walking distance from the train station and the marina and lies within the historical city centre. The staff was really friendly and accomodating. It’s a 3 star hotel! The view is sensational, the breakfast wonderful- the cakes are homemade, the eggs fresh and tasty. Very comfy mattresses- slept very well, extra cushions and woolen blankets in the cupboard. The Island La Maddalena is sooo Beautiful and special and best explored by boat.

Got a nice room directly across from the water! I didn’t find it noisy at all. The room was clean, and the receptionists were very polite. It had a larger outdoor comfy seating area that was shaded if you arrived a little earlier than checkin to wait at. The location was great! (5 min or less walk to city center, 10 or less to a bus that takes you directly to the airport for 1.5 euros)

Rooms are functional, clean and very air conditioned but don’t expect any coziness. Staff was super friendly. Good spot if you need something last minute near the airport and can’t find anything else like us. Though I do hope your last minute price isn’t as bad as ours.

Awesome! It was awesome. They give you keys to let yourself in when the reception closes at 11 pm. The breakfast is always great with that Illy coffee machine. Great value. It’s also within walking distance to the center.

It was a lovely hotel. Pool was divine and spotlessly clean. An easy and short walk to the beach. We ate dinner one night and the food was very good. I did miss having ‘a bar’ area for a pre or post dinner drink. My only other comment would be some umbrellas by the pool. I would happily stay there again.

The place is simple and clean, very well kept. It's close to the beach and restaurants, you can reach these on foot, in 10/15 minutes. The bed was comfortable so we rested well. The staff at the reception is very nice, professional and helpful. They also have new mountainbikes for rental for a very reasonable price (15euro), and it's worth to have a stroll around with it.

It’s a really nice hotel and sort of affordable at the island. I thought breakfast was included in the price but I had to pay for it during checkout. Although it was worth it as eating out around is expensive anyway. It’s not a fancy hotel and the rooms uses native German/ Italian plugs so you should carry your multi socket. Clean but very modestly equipped room, comfortable mattresses, tasty breakfast. I was unpleasantly surprised that there was no mineral water, glasses or kettle in the room. The view from the room was on the inside of the building and did not provide privacy.

We liked our stay at the hotel. The people that work there are very nice. The room is complete, everything works, good airconditioning and we could even see the sea while we were not in a sea side room. The breakfast was divers enough and the coffee was really tasty. There is a big parking lot near the hotel that is reserved for hotel guests. Definitely would recommend it :)

Hotel Castello suited me so well as a single traveler. The staff were the best part for me - so nice and accommodating. My poor Italian was not a problem when I had questions for the front desk staff. They helped me to book a boat trip to La Maddalena islands. I had a room facing the road.
