Everything at this hotel was incredible. From the staff, to the services and the pool. One of the most beautiful pools I have had the pleasure of swimming in with a stunning view. I would 10/10 recommend staying here!

The hotel is a good and clean place to stay. However, it takes about 20 minutes on foot to reach the beach (downhill on the way there, and a slow climb back up). Lovely family run hotel in the centre. Our room was very quiet and very clean, as was the whole hotel. Buffet beakfast had a good selection and included homemade cakes too. Staff were friendly and very helpful, booking us restaurants for the two nights we stayed there. The town was lovely and we enjoyed exploring. In summary, a lovely place to stay and very relaxing.

Very nice hotel situated in the centre of the city, close to the beach and many restaurants. Rooms are relatively small, but well equiped. Breakfast was perfect - a lot of sweet and salty bakery, cheese, ham, salami, yoghurts, many types of juices, fresh fruit, eggs. You can also order coffee or tea. I only missed some vegetable.

The staff was nice and the pool area was beautiful, but the rooms are very old and they use an overwhelming amount of cleaner in the rooms so you feel like you are being fumigated. The beds are like rocks. The rooms need to be renovated. The breakfast was good.

The setting is beautiful with interesting rock formations on the property and rooms separated by open grass and trees. We truly enjoyed our three day stay at this resort. Fantastic location, elegant, and spacious and clean rooms. Nice swimming pool and garden. Enough sunbeds and trees to find a place in the shade. We booked the junior suite for 900 euros a night. For that price it is an extremely basic room. The bathroom is small and not ventilated at all, even with the door wide open you will find all mirrors completely fogged. The bathroom products are fine holiday inn standard, I would expect higher end for the price. No body lotion provided. The sheets and pillows feel old, the whole room needs an update...

Great location. About 6 mins walk into the main shopping town area of Porto Cervo where all the designer shops are, with small supermarket and pharmacy also. Location is beautiful, we had a gorgeous view of the harbour. The room was clean and cutely decorated - although it smelled a little musty. We did have a ground floor room and sleeping was an issue on the last night as they had a party upstairs. After calling the front desk, there was nothing to do, music would be turned off at midnight. Eclectic and eccentric! If your down for folk art on the walls and a Plastic Cow called Calamity Jane at the entrance then your found the right place! That being said the breakfast was varied including some amazing Foccacia and even a fresh honeycomb! Staff could not do enough for us.

Beautiful place. Everything worked. Staff were great. Good breakfast. The only negative was the lack of arrival instructions at the gate. We had a difficult time getting in and then out due to an apparently finicky gate mechanism.

Overall the Alghero Resort is not bad, it is just passed its heyday and needs some serious maintenance: Driving up the country road leading up to the resort, following an almost makeshift sign with construction fence on the left partially covered with tattered tarp already made a not-so-good impression. It's situated in countryside a few kilometres outside of the beautiful city of Alghero. It's a bit different from usual hotels, in the sense that it has more of a rustic, farmhouse feel. This is our first time in Sardinia, and we loved this hotel. Total immersion in the Italian essence, in a renovated convent with beautiful views and surroundings, with a restaurant with typical Italian products. We had 2 fabulous nights in a Seaview room at this hotel. The location is fantastic on the waterfront. The hotel restaurant was delicious. The Skybar and view were extraordinary. The breakfast choices were enough with a mix of options. Don’t hesitate to stay but make sure you book car parking ahead of time.

My room was lovely and very clean and comfortable with several chairs and a desk with plenty of space, a lovely view of the orange orchard outside on my balcony, and was very quiet, the bathroom was a little tight but manageable, if you're a bit on the heavier side it will definitely be a challenge. We stayed in Suite Granito the last week of May - perfect for 4 people - so much outdoor space and the absolute best views - especially at sunrise! Right off the path that takes you along the water or to restaurants and shops. Mr Sagi could not have been more helpful! We rented a boat one day and loved being on the water. Nice and elegant 4 star hotel in South Sardinia. They have different buildings with a swimming pool in each one. In our building there were only 5 bedrooms, so we were almost alone in the swimming pool. The rooms are very large. They lack of wardrobe, so there are few space to leave the clothes. Don't look at the frustrated dutch comments. This is a very nice clean hotel. Food is good, staff is speaking English and many of them even French (as a dutch speaking Belgian the both languages are an advantage). Very nice location if you want to enjoy quiet night. Breathtaking property with very helpful staff.

Magnificent surroundings. We enjoyed walking around and exploring the whole complex. It has a wonderful view and clear rocky beaches. We enjoyed morning breakfast and evening dinners. We had a lovely time.

The room was amazing. Staff were very helpful. The breakfast had a vast array. The spa is the best I’ve ever seen. We stayed in three places across Sardinia, this was by far the best and one of the best we’ve ever stayed.
