Highly recommended! The hotel is in a great location, making it easy to get around and explore the area. The receptionist was absolutely wonderful—so kind and helpful, and she assisted us with everything we needed. She truly made our stay much more enjoyable. The room was large, spacious, and very practical, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again!

The air conditioning in the rooms does not work (not good for summer in italy). And as many others have mentioned, the staff was rude and unhelpful and did not find a resolution to the broken AC. Which is so unfortunate because the hotel itself is beautiful and in a great location.

I told the staff the day i checked in that it’s too warm at 25.3 celsius, and when i adjusted the temp did not go down for an hour, so i asked her to have a look. She adjusted the thermostat and told me it will be cooler soon. The room never got below 25 so we barely slept. I couldn’t even ask for more help because their staff leaves at 8:30pm and charge you 50 euros if you call for help.

I told the staff the next morning that the temperature never went down, and they said “it’s working perfectly”, though my room is still 25. I asked how can that be the case when the thermostat is set to 21 and never went below 25, and she said “perhaps it’s my preferences”.

On a less important but still annoying note, the staff told us at check in that room is stocked with complimentary water, snacks and drinks. Our fridge was empty so we asked reception if they could please at least add water. She said she “doesn’t have time to do it herself” so gave us a handful of things to take back ourselves. Just rude and a weird experience overall. Given they only have 10 rooms to manage you’d think they could be a bit more on top of things.

Extremely disappointing customer service. Due to major disruption and severe security delays at Birmingham Airport, we missed our flight despite arriving well in advance. We contacted the hotel immediately to explain the situation and ask whether any flexibility or assistance was possible regarding the booking.
Unfortunately, the staff showed no understanding or willingness to help whatsoever. The attitude we received felt cold, dismissive, and completely lacking in empathy despite the circumstances being outside our control.
A hotel’s real quality shows when guests experience unexpected problems, and sadly this experience was very poor. I would not feel comfortable booking here again.

Lovely stay at Corte Guelfa Hotel in Florence. Charming atmosphere, beautifully maintained, and very well located. The room was excellent and the shower outstanding. The staff was welcoming and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended.

The location was great. Room was nice, quiet and seemed clean. However, we had an issue with some ants in our room that was never resolved, even with mentioning the problem multiple times. Was just told “they were sorry about that”. I also accidentally left my power adapter and charging cord. Called the hotel to inquire and told “it was not found”. I had unplugged a smart device they offered you to use to plug my adapter in, so I find it hard to believe the adapter was not found when the room was cleaned.

Very good hotel!!! Only the rooms are very dark, the window is also the door (studio). Overall, everything is great!

There is road construction at the entrance of the hotel... It is a bit inconvenient to carry luggage. But the price is still in line with the service.

Courtyard style, the rooms are all on the first floor, the lighting is a bit flawed, but everything else is perfect

This hotel is very conveniently located, within walking distance of the train station and the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore. The rooms are spacious and have a small bar. The service is excellent. We left early on the day of our departure, and breakfast wasn't open yet, so we thought we wouldn't be able to have breakfast. After we told the front desk, they arranged for breakfast to be served half an hour earlier, which was very thoughtful.
