All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, both at the hotel and the cafe next door that served the breakfast. In particular, Albie made our stay in Florence better than we ever could have managed on our own. He had wonderful recommendations for sightseeing, gelato places and tours, and helpful tips to make the most of our time here. We’re so glad we booked at Hotel Boccaccio!
Quaint hotel in prime location next to the station with rooms worth the price. The provided breakfast was good for starting the day.
Elbie, one of the receptionist, is very friendly and humorous! He gave us advice where to eat and even called the restaurant to reserve the seats for us. When we finished dinner and back to the hotel, my husband realized he forgot his jacket and left it in the restaurant, Elbie was helpful and called the restaurant to check for us. I can tell he loves his job and always offers a lot assistance to guests. Thank you Elbie!

The breakfast provided was standard; it had the usual options to get your day started but wasn't anything particularly special.
As for the room, it was quite basic and showed its age. The furniture and decor were dated and in need of a refresh. It's not a room you'd want to spend a lot of time in.
In summary, come to this hotel for its unbeatable location. If you're looking for a convenient place to sleep and store your luggage while you spend all day out in the city, it works perfectly. However, if you are expecting a modern room and amenities, you might be disappointed. It's a good choice as long as you manage your expectations.
