The facilities are a bit dated, but it's Florence, so I understand.
I appreciated the 24-hour complimentary coffee ice cream service.
The staff were also friendly and pleasant.

Loved our stay here. The employees were so kind. They gave great recommendations. Location was perfect, literally right outside the Duomo. Service was excellent. Breakfast was delicious. We loved staying here and if we ever visit Florence again we would definitely stay again.

Amazing, friendly, and beautifully run hotel! The perfect home base for exploring the city, with epic Duomo views from the breakfast area and some rooms. The free gelato was such a thoughtful touch, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!

Couldn’t be better located, in the heart directly across from Duomo. Best thing was morning breakfast with ATA, the nicest guy and the free gelato 24 seven. Pistachio was the best I’ve ever had and I’ve tried it everywhere I travel, also the black cherry AMAZING!!!

My wife and I stayed during our honeymoon. I had been to Florence before and it is one of my favorite cities in the world. This hotel only reaffirmed that. The hotel is a convenient 12 minute walk from the train station and located at the hear of Florence with an incredible view of the Duomo. Amazing cafes nearby, all the food you could eat. The staff was incredibly helpful with restaurant recommendations. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Florence!

First of all, the location was perfect, so I could stop by the hotel every now and then to rest when I was tired and hot from jet lag. Being an older building, there were limitations, but the staff were on hand 24 hours a day, and they offered free access to gelato, water, coffee, and other beverages. It felt like a real Italian experience, unlike any hotel I've stayed at before. I highly recommend it, especially for solo travelers. Thank you all for everything.

Excellent hotel in the heart of everything.

10 minutes from Uffizi
10 minutes from Academia
10 minutes walk to the main Santa Maria train station!

I had a balcony a enjoyed my cigars daily. You can also smoke your cigars or cigarettes outside the main lobby as well.

Free coffee and water all day long , 24 hours, fro the lobby cafeteria so it can really save on your coffee bills! I must have had about 20 cups in my 4 nights!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The front desk was super nice, friendly and helpful. The place was clean. it’s a perfect location. You’re literally in the center of everything. Lots of great food and places to shop. And close to the train station. The rooftop was beautiful. They made our bed and gave us clean towels every day without asking, which is something they don’t tend to do in the United States anymore a lot. The AC worked a lot better than I expected it too. Another thing that I really appreciated was how secure the place was. Which is very important to me.We will definitely stay here again when we come back.
