Verena in Montecatini-Terme

I traveled alone. The only member of staff I dealt with was also the owner of the place. Old man who does speak only a perfect Italian but always tries to make you understand what he means. I was in room number1 on the first floor: really really clean. Yes, small, but I only needed a clean bed and shower. Very good price (5days spent there beginning of June). Reception stops at 23.30,but if needed to go back to the hotel later, you can speak to the staff at the Savoia &Campana (just down the street) and they will open the door. The old man's sons own this second hotel. Amazing and friendly people.
Unfortunately I have not tried the breakfast. Conad supermarket at 3mn walk.
Every time I was at réception, the gentleman made conversation and asked me where I was going and what I did lol. The good point is that I practiced my limited Italian everyday and now I can understand a few more things.

We wouldn't have liked our experience in montecatini if we hadn't stayed here! It was a fun real Italian experience. It didn't have ac and it was the middle of August but the staff and the cute area made up for it!

Amazing place! Atmosphere of the true old Italy. Owner of hotel and his father - very nice guys :)
