I chose this hotel solely to use a free Smartbox on our tour of the Val d'Orcia. I didn't have high expectations (if I hadn't had the Smartbox, I would never have chosen this accommodation). But there was a big difference between expectations and reality: The rooms are very spacious because they were converted from a 1970s house. It's a shame the furnishings are still from that era! Including the olive-green floors and fixtures... There was at least a centimeter of dust on the bathroom walls, along the edge of the tiles. Breakfast is modest and can be had for an additional €4 per person. The thoughtfulness of leaving a complimentary bottle of Montepulciano in the guest room is commendable.

It is located on the outskirts of Montepulciano, about 5-6 minutes by car from the city center, and the facilities and cleanliness are at the level of a typical 3-star hotel in Italy.

A very welcoming hotel, located between Montepulciano and Chianciano Terme. The staff is kind and friendly. The complimentary bottle of wine in the room was much appreciated. The breakfast buffet was also exceptional! We'll definitely be back!

The property is a bit dated, but comfortable and practical. Katia is super kind and helpful in explaining what to see in the area during our stay in Montepulciano. The complimentary bottle of wine in the room was a great idea, and the breakfast was a welcome treat. Breakfast was plentiful. Greetings from Verona.

Dated structure but refurbished and large rooms. Excellent location in a quiet area and in front of the spa. Disappointing breakfast (given the reviews) cheap products and also served for two consecutive days. Nothing can be attributed to the very kind and helpful lady who takes care of everything from (impeccable) cleaning to welcoming customers. Property tip: Dried fig weddings are not done

Very simple hotel. Clean. Spacious but not soundproofed rooms. A little dated. Sufficiently provided breakfast. Located next to the thermal baths. Ideal if of few pretensions.

We are a family of 4. We stayed in an apartment inside the hotel. We had a great time. The lady of the hotel is very courteous and helpful. He served us very good breakfasts and also gave us many directions for our travels in Tuscany. The rooms and spaces inside the apartment are very large and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable family stay. Sant'Albino is a strategic location for various excursions in Tuscany.
