Akaneironoumi Arujisu in Izu

This was one of the highlights of our time in Japan. While the outside of the hotel is quite worn and the rooms could use a face lift, it was very clean and the staff was incredibly welcoming. We loved how kind and thoughtful the staff members were. The sweet hostesses were wonderful with our baby and seemed to genuinely love what they do.

The meals were delicious and we loved being able to have kaiseki breakfasts and dinners in the room. It was wonderful to have an open air bath on the balcony all to ourselves and we could relax while the baby was sleeping. We had a great stay :)

Service provided was top tier and the food spread was extremely delicious! The room was clean and the en suite onsen was definitely the cherry on top. Would 100% recommend staying at this place!

The room was clean and the food was good.

This is a small hot spring inn located north of Toi Onsen. Located right next to the coast, all rooms have ocean views and come with open-air baths. At dusk, you can bathe in a hot spring bath with flowing water while looking out at the deep red sea. Dinner was luxurious and delicious, with spiny lobster, red sea bream, abalone grilled and funamori. The rice cooked with cherry shrimp at the end had a nice aroma and was very good. You can choose from three types of dried fish for breakfast, and you can also enjoy piping hot miso soup with spiny lobster. The customer service of the staff was also very polite and nice. The large public bath and open-air bath with a view are located on the 5th floor, and you can enjoy them while relaxing. It was also nice to have some tea prepared in the lounge after leaving the bath.

Amazing experience in a small sea side town. The service was top notch. The rooms were spacious and traditional and you sleep on tatamis. The onsen was clean and hot water came out 24/7. The breakfast and dinner was the highlight. A multi course meal was given with fresh seasonal seafood.

Incredible experience, best way to enjoy Mt.Fuji. The staff was extremely kind and helpful, the food delicious and the views (4th fl) were spectacular!!! Highly recommend!!
