This pension felt like home, and I felt at home♪ Since I was only staying overnight, I didn't get to talk to the owner in depth, but he was a very nice person! I was able to use the bath even though I was only staying overnight, which was helpful. The tiled bath was the same size as the one at my parents' house, but it was deep and I was able to warm up slowly! Although it is an old-fashioned pension, the floor heating is comfortable and it is well maintained! There are only a few power outlets, so some ingenuity is required. The parking lot is close to the hotel, so it was convenient for loading and unloading luggage.
Perhaps people who imagined it as a "hotel" gave it a low rating?
The price was reasonable, it was warm and neat, and I would definitely like to return.

I stayed without meals included, but eating and drinking in the room was prohibited. It felt cramped, like three people were crammed into a double room. There was only one electrical outlet, which was inconvenient. I probably won't stay here again.

The owner is absolutely terrible.

When a cancellation came up at the last minute, they arbitrarily changed our reserved two rooms to one.

Even though we had contacted them in advance, they didn't ask for confirmation that it was okay to have only one room, and when we tried to reserve another room, they became aggressive and demanded an extra fee.

The room was dirty and smelled like a dog kennel.

I can't believe they charge this much for this.

Furthermore, there are complicated rules everywhere in the facility; I've never seen a worse place to stay.

I will never come back, and I absolutely do not recommend it.

A wine-flavored alpaca for 1500 yen? No way.

I'm sensitive to smells, so the musty smell in the room was a dealbreaker. I slept with the sheets over my head.

The owner was a nice person, so I'll give it 2 stars.

Our family (all adults) stayed from December 30th, 2019 to January 1st, 2020. We booked a room-only stay.

The ceiling is low due to the roof's slope, but it was just the right size for three people. The underfloor heating was wonderfully warm!!!

Because it's located below Donguri Village, we felt safe even on snowy days. (We had snow tires and a 4WD kei car.) On days with heavy snow, chains might be necessary.

The owner and his wife were very nice, and we had a wonderful trip.

This time we booked a room-only stay, but next time we'd like to book one with meals included.
