Located next to the Happo-one Lift Adam, about a 15-minute walk from the Happo-one bus terminal, the location is excellent. There are also free shuttle buses from other ski resorts nearby. There are also plenty of ski shops and restaurants, making it worth staying again.

Nice low key place, friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyed the food at the restaurant as well.

2021/05/03 It was a small pension. Even though it was spring skiing, it was still cold at night and dawn, and it was a little cold, so I requested floor heating and asked for it. A friendly owner with a soft demeanor, he was healed just by talking (^-^) /

The best part was having a private soaking tub and jacuzzi to soothe fatigue after skiing! There's a restaurant, a ski drying room, and the owner is very nice. They also provide multiple restrooms, a powder room, and a refrigerator!

The interior of the guesthouse is very clean overall, and the common areas are warmly decorated and furnished. There's a charcoal stove in the lobby on the first floor where you can relax on the sofa by the fire, which is very pleasant. The guesthouse has an overall feel of a vintage wooden villa. I’ve just had a fantastic stay in Pension Roku. The building is well maintained and spotless. The owners were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond for me during my stay. The location is convenient. It is a short walk to Echoland and 7 eleven. This is a nice cosy place run by a couple. There aren't many rooms. We were on the top floor. There are shower times and showers are below. The floor is heated and warm enough for me. The blankets and bed was good and comfy. One pillow provided. Convenient to walk out for food .

The CUTEST home to stay in, super cosy and welcoming, close to so many restaurants and bars. Easy bus close by to the slopes and we walked from the train station which took about 30 mins, but an easy and scenic walk. Loved our stay.

Fantastic stay as 3 Aussies staying for the snow. Rooms are simple with everything you need, heating was great. Communal bathrooms, but plenty of cubicles. I never had to wait for the shower either. We loved our stay at Pension Marionette in January 2026. Lovely atmosphere and great location, close to everything. We felt like we were staying at someone's home, not a hotel. It was great.

We stayed here for a week in December 2024. Great location for access to town and quick shuttle run to ski slopes. The rooms were basic but ok, perfect if backpacking or on a budget. If you are looking for more than somewhere warm to sleep then you may be disappointed. Not recommended for young children or anybody that struggles with shared amenities or steep stairs.

Our family (all adults) stayed from December 30th, 2019 to January 1st, 2020. We booked a room-only stay. The ceiling is low due to the roof's slope, but it was just the right size for three people. Stayed in the new chalets at the Guesthouse. They are beautifully made with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The fire and sauna were extra special after skiiing. The best bit was the service from Koji and the team, as first timers to Hakuba they helped with organising us and getting us around. Can't wait to return.

Amazing stay in Happo, The accommodation was so comfortable and immaculately kept. The Onsen baths every afternoon after skiing were sooo good.
