The hotel locates nearby Nikko, the world herritage area, just 4 km. from the hotel. Our room is very big, clean, and good maintained. We enjoyed our stay at Nanaeyae during autumn. The staff were wonderful throughout and served us delicious meals. We also particularly enjoyed the onsen bath which was well-maintained and invigorating.

Nanaeyae went above and beyond my expectations, from the food, to the room and especially the hospitality from everyone we met there. I highly recommend ordering their in-house sake with the kaiseki dinner - it was absolutely delicious. Very thankful for the amazing stay.

We had a lovely stay, experiencing aspects of Japanese culture - such as the food, Japanese room and the beautiful onsen. It was further away from the Nikko World Heritage Site than we realised when booking. However, we rather enjoyed the picturesque train ride there each day. The staff were very courteous and we were given gifts on our departure.

It's a little far from the station, but there's a bus so it's not too much of a problem! The food was delicious and I was very happy ♪

A standard Japanese hot spring hotel

I went to Nikko for a trip and stayed at the Kinugawa Onsen Hotel the night before. It included one dinner and one breakfast, and there was also a natural hot spring ♨️ to use. I took a bus from Kinugawa Onsen Station for 300 yen directly to the main entrance of the hotel. The front desk service was warm, and the dinner and breakfast were also very rich!

A fantastic experience! We traveled with our elders and two-year-old, and it seemed perfect for a family trip. The food was delicious, both dinner and breakfast, and the staff was excellent! Most importantly, the hotel was very clean and tidy! Highly recommended!

A rather unique hot spring hotel. The room I booked was a Japanese-style room (washitsu), purely tatami room, and there's no bathroom inside – please be aware of this. To bathe, you need to go to a separate, traditional Japanese hot spring bath, separated by gender, where you must be naked and thoroughly washed before entering. 10/10 satisfaction, because my wife was very satisfied. The hotel isn't large, but the design is thoughtful and meticulous. I especially appreciated the private bath (¥2000/hour) and the inner garden view. The two meals included with the stay were excellent; the sashimi was served in an ice basin, a thoughtful touch.

The staff provided excellent service. My only disappointment was not being aware beforehand that parking wasn't available until 3 PM. This made it challenging to meet up with my international guests. Had I known this in advance, we could have made much smoother arrangements, so I hope this information is clearly communicated for future guests.

It was a great experience staying in a traditional ryokan, visit an onsen (public bath) and use a yukata (Japanese robe). Lovely staff, great location and spacious and clean room. A futon mattress would have made the experience even better, but the down duvet was wonderful.

Yutorelo Nikko, nestled by Lake Chuzenji in Okunikko, is a lakeside inn with hot springs. The rooms are spacious and clean, offering excellent value for money.

This was an interesting stay I was very obviously here in the absolute off season. The hotel is run in an interesting mix of can be cheap and can be high class. The hotel is located in the mountains and is very quiet. Although the buildings and rooms are relatively old, the maintenance and cleanliness are up to standard. I was grateful for the accommodating hospitality despite my late arrival and late check-in time. The accommodations were spacious and clean, and the extended bathhouse hours were a nice touch.

This hotel is absolutely wonderful! Opening the window, you're greeted with a stunning view of red maple trees. The food is also exceptional; there are countless small dishes and bowls, and you'll definitely leave feeling completely full.
