Hotel Keihan Kyoto Hachijoguchi in Kyoto

Hotel very near to Kujo station and Kyoto station. Hotel is clean but toilet is quite small.

Traveling as a group of three, we booked a triple room and it was a bit bigger than we expected. The hotel isn't far from Kyoto Station, and it's close to the bus stop, which made getting around really convenient. They also have a large public bath, which was a very nice experience.

Very convenient for me to go out for everything.I will back to stay here if I travel to Kyoto again.Thx for everything 🙏

The hotel's location is super convenient, just a 10-minute walk from Kyoto Station and about 8 minutes from Isetan and Aeon. There's also a bus stop just 5 minutes away that goes directly to Kiyomizu-dera Temple. Everything is so easily accessible. The room itself was quite spacious and pleasant.

This self-service hotel is excellent and incredibly convenient. Check-in was seamless, and the hot springs were open very late, almost all day long! You can grab toiletries and other items as needed, and room cleaning can be intelligently selected, which eliminates a lot of communication hassle and is very efficient. The breakfast selection is extensive, making for a fantastic experience!

Arrived in Kyoto at the tail end of autumn foliage season. This hotel is conveniently located not far from Kyoto Station, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel's indoor and outdoor hot springs are a real highlight.

The hotel is located near the subway station, about an eight-minute walk away. The biggest highlights are the public bath and free popsicles. Although the rooms are small, which is typical for Japan, the most important thing is that they are clean and hygienic.

Stayed here in July 2019 and had a great experience. Six years later, I stayed again this year and it's still just as good.

This time I tried the breakfast, but unfortunately, I went a bit late so there weren't as many options, but it was still really good and delicious.

The only thing is the shampoo and toiletries changed from Pola to Kao. Overall, I'd definitely come back again. My friend also gave it excellent reviews.

Exceeded my expectations! I randomly picked this hotel, and since I was traveling during the off-season, the price was reasonable, and most importantly, they had a triple room. Compared to other Japanese hotels, the room was quite spacious. The location is super convenient; within a 10-minute walk, there's a subway and bus station, and it's also very close to Kyoto Station – excellent transportation. The hotel facilities are relatively new. The only minor drawback might be the poor soundproofing.

The service was also great. I stored my luggage there before check-in and then checked in after 3 PM using the self-service kiosk. Besides standard toiletries, the hotel also provided facial cleanser and some lotion/toner, which even Koko hotels don't offer. Plus, each floor has a microwave for heating food, and they provided cutlery. The nearby 7-Eleven was well-stocked, but when I left, I didn't realize the Indian clerk hadn't given me cutlery, so I ended up getting it from the hotel. Overall, I was very satisfied!

For a hotel in Japan, the room was exceptionally spacious, easily accommodating two large suitcases fully open. Housekeeping was very prompt, and the overall atmosphere was lovely, with a beautiful Japanese aesthetic. There were plenty of washing machines available, which was very convenient.
