This hotel is right in the city center, directly on the shopping street. It's easily accessible from the train station by a simple bus ride that drops you almost right in front of the building. We had a wonderful stay; the staff was incredibly competent and even helped me retrieve an item I'd left on the train. Their kindness and friendliness were remarkable. Our room was super clean and came with a complimentary amenity kit. On the landing, there was even a coffee and tea station available. I highly recommend staying at this splendid establishment. They also offer the convenience of leaving your luggage before check-in.

The room was very clean, and the front desk staff were enthusiastic and vibrant. The only downside was that the room was a bit small, making it difficult for three people to spread out their luggage.

The location is convenient. The room was clean and very comfortable. It's also close to Sanjo Bridge. There are plenty of breakfast options nearby, so you won't have any trouble finding a place to eat.

We had a great stay at this hotel! The location was perfect. It was close to everything we wanted to visit, including food spots, temples, shopping centers, and nearby stations, which made getting around very easy. The room was clean when we checked in, and the staff was very accommodating, especially with storing our luggage after checkout. Overall, a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

The front desk staff were very friendly and communication was smooth. The overall cleanliness was decent, but it was a bit startling when a cockroach suddenly crawled out from under the bed in the middle of the night. The location is excellent and the room is spacious. Overall, it's highly recommended.

The room was great, and the hotel's location is super convenient, just 600 meters from Takashimaya. The subway is only 400 meters away. It even has a separate bathtub! I had a very comfortable stay.

The Wi-Fi signal wasn't great. Towels are only replaced every three days. Additionally, there was no duvet cover; only a flat sheet was used over the blanket. On the positive side, the location is very convenient. It's very close to the shopping street and pedestrian zone, making shopping a breeze.

Lovely service and our steaks were cooked to perfection. Delightfully cosy inside, and also the music was great!

My rating is for the ryokan experience, which is incredibly accommodating and comfortable. The room was roomy and the bed soft and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make our whole stay as easy and relaxing as possible. Me and my girlfriend stayed six nights and had a lot of heavy luggage, and after checkout the staff called a taxi, sat us down and gave us hot coffee while we waited, and then gave us an umbrella and loaded our luggage into the taxi.

Hands down the best out of five places we stayed at during our Japan trip.

Easy going, simple and nice. Menu isn't very diverse but that's ok, food/beer combination is well thought about. There are 2 tables next to the entrance (at the right) which are facing sun in the afternoon, it's particularly good in summer.

Came across this restaurant and notice that is a hostel and cafe mix. When I went in, there was a lot of people so I felt that the food is probably good and I was right! The lunch menu has around 5 choices and I decided to take the smoked pork. I didn't regret a thing!

At first I thought the portion was small but I was wrong and it was filling! The smoked pork has a really nice texture and the sauces is sweet with a tingly taste. I would go back and try the others!
