Kyoto Station Hot Spring & Hotel - Hatoya Zuihokaku in Kyoto

Excellent location,  close to the station. Easy walk to all the buses. Staff, services, onsen and amenities are wonderful.  Love their breakfast.  Can’t say enough good things about it.

Hotel in a great location, short walk to main train station Kyoto where you can connect to all train system. A step away from bus station which very convenient to travel around the city. Convenient store and food easily find, hotel room is bigger then all usual hotel in Japan and cleanliness is spotless. The Onsen is very clean and big, even is crowded you will still find a spot to enjoy.

The room we stayed in had more of a western fee to it (a chaise lounge and a single seat instead of the traditional Japanese table). Regardless, the room was very pretty with traditional Japanese wall paper, blinds and bathroom. The blinds were a tiny bit spotted with stains especially near the furniture which we overlooked, but the amenities were plentiful and offered in the room.

The beds were extremely comfortable and chargers for phones were made readily available. Very nice to melt away in bed after a long day without needing to unpack chargers.

The shared baths were also beautiful, large frosted glass surrounded the bath with an outdoor section that offered more of a nature environment. Since this is exclusive to guests there were times where I was there all by myself for a few minutes which brought deep appreciation.

I did not indulge in the hotels food offerings, and nearby places closed around 11pm so nothing to eat until the morning when we stayed. We found delicious bites and a fair at a nearby temple/park in the morning and indulged in fresh sushi quick bites before heading to our next destination.

I've stayed at this hotel both times I've visited Kyoto. It's really close to Kyoto Station, which makes getting around super convenient, and it's very clean. They even have a hot spring, which is amazing after a long day of sightseeing. I'll definitely be staying here again next time!

The location of the hotel was well located next to the Kyoto train station. The room was decent and clean. The Ibsen was very useful. There are many restaurants around the hotel area.

Hotel was very pleasant to stay at nice staff and onsen is included. However tattoos are not allowed so make sure you hide them with bandages (cultural reasons).

As is common for Japan, the rooms are quite compact, but this hotel boasts excellent facilities. They provide Pola brand toiletries, and everything felt spotlessly clean. The public bath was also immaculately maintained. The staff were professional and courteous. Its location is a major plus, offering a very convenient walk to Kyoto Station. While the price might be a bit higher, it's absolutely justifiable for the quality and convenience offered.
