The location is very centralised and closed to bus terminals. Very easy accessible to the attractions. The hotel is old but well maintained. We have the kaiseiki roykan dinner which is really really good.

The location is convenient, just a few minutes' walk from Kyoto Station. The Japanese-style room was spacious, with both a traditional Japanese table and chairs and regular seating, so we didn't have to constantly sit on our knees. The tatami mats were more comfortable than expected. The hotel service was excellent; they helped us book a family bath for private use, and yukata and sleepwear were also provided.

The room condition was very clean and it was bigger than I thought. The bathroom in the basement was clean and perfect for relieving fatigue. It was more convenient because there was a staff member who spoke Korean fluently. All the staff members were very friendly. The location was right in front of the station, so it was easy to get around. I recommend it!

The room was quite large, facing the street on the right side of Kyoto Station. It was clean and well-equipped with air conditioning. The facilities were a bit old, but everything else was good.

Cozy room in traditional style. Furniture is not new, but overall ok. At the reception you can take Japanese robes, you can also pour drinks. Breakfast is simply huge and every day is different.

We were looking for experience of staying in a traditional Japanese style tatami room, and I'm glad we made the right choice by selecting this ryokan. Clean, thoughtful, convenient, and near to train station. Will make the same choice again if we visit Kyoto using train.

The hotel is located close to Kyoto Station, about a 5-minute walk.
The staff was very nice and helped us put our luggage in the room. They explained patiently.
There is free soda, coffee and cola in the lobby.
The room I rented had a tatami mat, very traditional decoration, and the lock was keyed.
The room is very large, and it is very convenient to store luggage. The toilet and shower are separate.
You can use the Japanese public bath for free, there are not too many people, and the experience is great.
There are many handwritten thank-you letters from customers in the hotel lobby, which is very touching.

The hotel service is good. We arrived at the hotel early and sat on the sofa in the lobby. The front desk staff took the initiative to greet us and arranged the room. The hotel location is good and easy to get in and out. The hotel breakfast is also good. It is a satisfactory stay.

A very unexpected hotel. I thought it was a private B&B (it was actually a large hotel). It was located under the Kyoto Tower. In order to take the airport bus, I booked it for one night with a try-it attitude. The result was completely beyond my expectations. The room was bigger than the B&B I stayed in before, which cost 2,600 yuan a night. Fortunately, I chose breakfast and dinner. The dinner was more abundant than the plum blossom I had the day before, and the service in the hotel restaurant was more thoughtful and meticulous. You can choose your own pajamas on the first floor, and the children's clothes are super cute. There is a sister who speaks Chinese at the front desk, and the service is warm and thoughtful. I will choose it again and recommend it to my friends.

Right above JR Kyoto with access to local and intercity trains. Clean, courteous staff and spacious rooms. I can see the JR train station from my window, but the room is exceptionally queit.

I use it often when I'm on a business trip to Kyoto. I like this restaurant because it has a high ceiling, it is spacious and very luxurious. It was very nice to see young families with small children, it was a nice hotel and the food was delicious. Tokizoya's Hokkaido foodies were served hot and delicious food. First of all, you can see that the hall staff has a very good behavior, attention and service spirit. After all, the access is too good (^^)

Nice hotel situated right in the train station. Very good place to see the city or go on daytrips to other cities. Room was quite large by Japanese standards and breakfast was lovely (Western & Japanese food). Service was great and very polite.

My favourite hotel in Kyoto and Japan. Stayed there for more than 5 times. Excellent location which is next to JR station, Kyoto subway station, Kintetsu station and bus terminal.
