We booked this hotel based on the recommendation of our daughter and so glad we stayed here. Our room is spacious, very clean, super comfortable and so new. We like the fact that the toilet is separated from the shower/ bathtub areas, very convenient. The shower head is quite amazing. The hotel is conveniently located next to 7 eleven, where we can get our smoothies and salads. The location is quiet and walking distance to buses and trains. We received excellent customer service from Ryota and manager Ryo. They are attentive, accommodating, super friendly and helpful. They also offer drinks free water bottles and expresso machine in room. Free sandwiches offered at breakfast and different drinks such as matcha latte, tea latte and coffee latte etc…

The room was spotless and quiet. The bed was comfortable. The staff were professional and attentive. We couldn’t ask for more but thank you for the excellent service. Kudo to Mr. Roy and Royota.

Extremely satisfied! The room was clean and tidy, with high-quality amenities. We arrived quite late and arranged for self-check-in, which was quick and efficient! The hotel staff were very professional, and I would definitely choose to stay here again!

Awesome hotel very close to the shopping district in Kyoto. When our planned tour guide did not show up Ryo the manager helped us find another way to see Nara and Osaka. He even followed up with directions via WhatsApp. We are very very appreciative of his help

Comfortable and convenient home base for Kyoto
We had a lovely stay. Mr. Ryo went above and beyond to welcome us and help us procure dinner reservations for our large family group. Our room was well appointed, attractive, and comfortable. The bathroom was like a spa!

A fifteen minute walk in various directions got us to exciting markets, or the train station, or high-end shops.

Loved our stay at Hotel Muso.

Staying in Kyoto You could not stay in a better place. Rooms with a LOT of space and such nice design. Clean ,quietly and cosy, Everything You need is there. When we asked for it ,we where given connection so we could stream from devices to tv screen. The staff very helpful and attentive. We felt so much that this place was our home in Kyoto. A great thank you to Miki and Ryu. They also booked table for restaurants in local area 👍 When asked for. The hotel is near to a subway 10 min. walk. Local area with small houses and a lot of atmosphere.

It was truly the best of the best.
I've been to many hotels while living in Kyoto, but this price is comparable to a 5-star hotel.
First of all, the staff was very friendly, and the room condition was very clean. Also, the amenities and various services were the best.
I was so satisfied that I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends who come to Kyoto.

I'll go back soon!
I strongly recommend everyone to experience it^^

First of all, Wuxiang Hotel is a B&B with more than ten rooms, so there is no lounge, no attached restaurant, and no 24-hour front desk. It is on a small road near Shijo Kawaramachi and is within walking distance of Takashimaya Daimaru Department Store. Taxis are very small and you will not know the rentals at the door, and the service is not very enthusiastic in advance. The advantages of checking in are that the room is larger than the display area and the double bathtub can relieve the fatigue of the day. The facilities are new and hygienic and clean, but the design is not very professional. The sofa is too dark and the air conditioner makes a lot of noise. The blinds do not block the light at all, which will wake people up early. For breakfast, they said the same type of tomoya was served in the room. The staff brought it to the room and put it away in sequence. Although it was simple and the combination was okay, I handed over a paper bag. The extremely sweet red bean bread, potato chips and mashed potatoes. The matcha latte sugar I chose was not put separately. It's very sweet. I don't understand the protein-free and super high sugar content of this breakfast. Maybe I stayed at the cheap Higashiyama Tokyu Hotel the day before yesterday. The breakfast quality was very good. It had Kuroge Wagyu beef. The contrast was too strong. In summary, the room was good and the breakfast was a disaster.

This hotel is really recommended. The location is very convenient and the price/performance ratio is unbeatable. All the drinks in the refrigerator are free. Breakfast will also be delivered to the room. The service is great!

07.09.2023 Guest

Very good experience. The person who checked in spoke very good English and spoke very clearly. The hotel is clean and sanitary. The hot dogs for breakfast are particularly delicious and crispy. The hotel is very quiet. The toiletries used are Martin Margiela.

Like Kyoto very much

Will stay again next time

The craft beer on offer here is fantastic. They keep it chilled, and the food is lovely too. A must visit for the start of a night out. If you start here and head into Kawaramachi, you will have a great night!
