Reviews
The place itself was cozy and clean and had everything we need and more. Cookies and tea were provided to our rooms. We also needed some laundry done and the lady was super helpful.
We did not get to try the public onsen but the one in the room was good for us.
Location is great too, right next to nishiki market. However, it was still quiet and tucked in a corner and we slept peacefully.
Thank you. Hontoni arigato gozaimasu. We’ll be back here if we go back to Kyoto! Thank you so much for the small gift too!
There was also a public bath, which was a welcome relief from a long day. Overall, it was a good stay. However, taxis were difficult to find on that street, and the location was quite inaccurate.
There was a free drink dispenser in the lounge next to the check-in lobby, so I used it often.
I was looking for a Japanese-style accommodation from the beginning, and I made a reservation because the reviews were good.
I think I was able to receive more detailed service because it was on the small side.
The room was a single-person room right next to the elevator. It was an aioi room.
The room size was about 20-24m2 including the bathroom and bathtub, and it was very spacious for staying alone.
What I liked the most was the large bath. I liked the nice scent of the products used in ryokans, which I don't know if they are white tea scents, and although it is small, I liked it even more because I often use it alone. The breakfast was not bad for the price.
It won't be easy to make a reservation every time I go to Kyoto, but I will visit often. Thank you :)

Cafe and Restaurants near hotel
Hands down the best out of five places we stayed at during our Japan trip.
At first I thought the portion was small but I was wrong and it was filling! The smoked pork has a really nice texture and the sauces is sweet with a tingly taste. I would go back and try the others!
