I was traveling alone this time, and couldn't find a hotel during a busy holiday period. This hostel exceeded my expectations; it was incredibly clean and tidy, and had all the facilities needed. The ground floor is a bistro where you can have brunch or drinks, and it has a great atmosphere. The location is also excellent, very close to Shijo Ohashi Bridge and Kamo River. Takashimaya for shopping and tourist attractions are all nearby, which saved a lot of travel time.

It's okay. It's my second time staying here. I think it's the same room. It's a 1-minute walk to Slo and 5 minutes to Suba.Kyoto. So I highly recommend it. It's very close to the river and the price is reasonable.

Great location with plenty to explore nearby. The restaurant/bar downstairs is very comfortable and the service is good. I'd definitely stay here again. Hotel guests get discount coupons for the bar downstairs – highly recommended for those who like a modern aesthetic with a touch of natural wood.

a great place stay as it’s on the main street. the staffs were friendly and the bar at the ground floor was such a vibe. I left my wallet (unfortunately) to Tokyo and the staffs were willing to help me to get it delivered asap to tokyo which i appreciate a lot. 10/10!! :) cheers
