Really loved my stay at Hotel Vine. I want to truly bring attention to a wonderful staff that works there. They were extremely attentive, knowledgeable, and kind. It made my stay in Osaka even that much more special. Do yourself a favor and have a meal at the dinner hall it has some great J-POP and K-POP collectible memorabilia from bands like BTS and Blackpink. Another added benefit was the air purifier and humidifier that kept my room smelling and feeling great. Didn’t see that type of accommodation in other hotels.

The location is quite convenient, not far from the Kitahama subway station. There are three 7-Elevens nearby, and the hotel's internet speed is good. What's even better is their 12 PM checkout time, which is a unique find in Japan where most hotels require checkout by 10-11 AM. Definitely a big plus!

Hygiene: The room was small but free of odors upon entering, with a window that could be opened for ventilation. The bathroom was clean and included a small bathtub. I stayed in a single room right by the elevator, but since I was out all day and only came back at night, I didn't notice any significant noise.
Environment: This hotel is close to the subway station and surrounded by office buildings. Within a 3-minute walk, there are convenience stores, Sukiya, ramen shops, etc., making it very convenient for those who aren't picky eaters to grab breakfast and dinner nearby.
Service: The front desk staff spoke excellent English, making the check-in process smooth.
I recommend this place to solo travelers.

Pretty small rooms. You open a lugguage and there's no space to walk.
The staff is good and location is 6 minute walk to nearest transit.

I usually don’t write reviews, but this time I have to.
Very disappointing stay for the price.
The service was completely lacking, and the hotel was not clean. The rooms were extremely small — the one we stayed in was even dirtier than the hallway. We’ve stayed in many hotels across Japan, but unfortunately, this was the worst experience so far.
The bathroom has a large, awkward step that makes it very inconvenient to use.
Overall, I would rate this hotel 0 out of 10. Definitely do not recommend staying here.

Clean, comfortable bed, breakfast of freshly made onigiri was a highlight.
My room was on the first floor and I had to go past the smoking room to get to it. The smell was unbearable and it wafted into the hall way. Maybe not a good choice for a non smoker

Pros:
- Rooms are neat and cleaned every day.
- AC is working perfectly
- Location is quite good
- Good sound-proofing
- Staff is kind and helpful

Cons:
- No storage space for clothes etc. Two minuscule drawers in the desk. No closet, no shelves. Only a wall pipe for a few hangers. You basically live in your luggages.
- Constant and strong cigarette smoke in the lobby entrance and outside in front sitting area…
- Poor breakfast

Also, window is blurred so you can’t see outside... But at least you get some daylight.

Lastly, if you want to make video calls, the wifi is too spotty and LTE does not go through so well so you’ll need to go somewhere with better internet.
