The hotel is spotless, the customer service is excellent, and it’s definitely worth recommending for a comfortable and pleasant stay.

I've forgotten the exact location, but I think it was about a 10-minute walk to the subway station and 10-20 minutes to Shinjuku's shopping area. However, it was pretty good value for money if you stay on a weekday.

This was my second time staying at a Toyoko Inn, and the fully self-service, contactless check-in using my passport at the machine was incredibly convenient.

Japanese hotels have very early check-out times, before 10:30 AM, and late check-in times, which gives them plenty of time for cleaning. This time, however, I noticed long hairs left by previous guests in many spots in the bathroom.

Because of limited availability, I could only book a smoking room. I don't smoke, but the smoke smell in the room was very faint, almost imperceptible. The room also came with a deodorizer spray, which you could use a few extra times yourself, which was a nice touch.

Overall, this is probably the best value-for-money hotel in the Shinjuku Kabukicho area. I stayed here six years ago and I'm back again! The room size and cleanliness are pretty standard, similar to other budget hotels. The main thing is that for this price, breakfast is included, and there's a good variety of options with decent taste. It's much better than having to buy rice balls every morning myself!

The room itself was pretty standard, typical business hotel style. The surrounding area is quite noisy, but that's to be expected since it's in Kabukicho. I felt a bit uneasy walking around at night due to safety concerns, but thankfully, I only stayed one night, so it was manageable!

The hotel location is good, very close to Shinjuku, but the room is really tiny. We couldn't even open two suitcases. Even though it's small, it has everything you need. The price was quite high, so the value for money is just okay.

It is a Toyoko Inn, it is cheap, so please do not expect 5 star accommodations. The rooms are nice and comfy. The location is good, in terms of, if you want to be near Shinjuku, the night life and shinjuku station(20+ mins walk) for day trips(like to see Mount Fuji), lots of restaurants and if you walk for 3 more mins you are in Korea town. Even if it is in Kabukicho, as a solo female traveller, i walked in the area everyday and i was fine.
Breakfast everyday is a plus(more geared towards Japanese food) the housekeeping staff are very nice and polite. there is a coffee station 24/7.
I had a good stay.

The location is very convenient. A lot of restaurants and konbinis around the area. Shopping centres are also just a few minutes away.

The room facilities are complete, and the hygiene is clean, tidy, and comfortable. The location is convenient for transportation, with a 7-Eleven downstairs and Shinjuku right nearby. Overall, a good experience!

Great review! The room was very clean. I had braced myself for a smaller space than what I'm used to in China, but it was spotless and had everything we needed. The room was also pretty quiet, and breakfast was delicious. Both the staff and the front desk were very polite, making it a good fit for working-class travelers. Thumbs up!
