Dormy Inn EXPRESS Asakusa Hot Spring in Tokyo

I really loved the free ramen and yakult, and especially the refilling of sanitary products (towels, etc), those services really made me and my family’s stay feel special and more comfortable after long trips.

Convenient location, free onsen, and spacious room with balcony. Superb stay :)

The hot springs at this hotel are really great, definitely worth experiencing. If you're not in the mood for a full soak, you can also grab a manga from the hotel and enjoy a foot bath while taking in the beautiful night view. A special shout-out for the delicious free ice cream and complimentary ramen! Our room had a balcony, and even though the facilities are a bit old, it was still quite nice. My only complaint is that female guests are only allowed to use the bath at specific times on Saturdays. I really hope the hotel can allocate more time for women to use the baths, otherwise, it feels quite unfair.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to both the train and subway stations. We were traveling to Narita Airport, and after taking the Airport Express to Asakusa Station, it was only about a 5-minute walk to the hotel. From our room, we could even see the Skytree, which was beautiful both in the morning and at night. It's very suitable for family trips, especially with kids, as they offer free yogurt in the mornings and free ramen and ice cream in the evenings, which the children loved. The only minor issue is that the facilities are a bit old; the faucet needs to be turned off very tightly, otherwise it keeps dripping. This was my first time staying in a tatami room, which was a novel experience. Most of the staff primarily spoke Japanese, with limited English, but both sides made a great effort, and basic communication was fine.

We booked the Japanese Western Room. The room is good enough for 3 people. 2 beds with 2 futons. The view from the balcony was amazing. The hotel is only a few mins walk from the closest exit of asakusa subway line. As usual, Dormy inn offers ramen at night!!!! Highly recommended!!!

Excellent stay. Very polite and friendly staff that can speak English. 10th floor has a foot bath and massage chair that is a lifesaver after a long day of exploring Tokyo. Would stay here again.

Last minute business travel catching the afternoon CX flight to HND. This is a great hotel that’s located in Asakusa, many options for late night food and in the morning is easily walkable to the surrounding business area. You wouldn’t go wrong with such a great valued offering from Dormy Inn group!
