I've stayed at 5 different Apa hotels in Japan. Definitely recommend if traveling in japan. Some have spas and onsens and in house dinning with breakfast included. Check details when booking. I wouldn't stay anywhere else if solo or pair traveling in Japan. Worth every penny.

Great price, good location. The room facilities are excellent, and there's space for luggage. Breakfast is good, though the dining area is a bit small, but you'll manage. (There are 100 other places to eat nearby anyway.) To get the elevator to your floor, you need to tap your card every time. You can only go to floors 1, 2 (for the o-furo bath and laundry), or your own floor. So, if your companions are on a different floor, you can't just drop in on them unannounced. :) Surprisingly, the on-demand video system also includes some 'pixelated content.' :) You'll find a more affordable laundromat to the left of the hotel's main entrance, I recommend it.

Location is good, 8 minutes away from a Tokyo Metro station and less than 20 from the Yamanote line and Bus Express Station. The best from the hotel is the fact it offers onsen for free in their facilities! A Family Mart and a Donki are in front of it. Rooms are small, but as they are in the APAs. Whenever I stay in Tokyo I choose this one, close to Kabukicho’s busy night life with fantastic workers and onsen (my favourite part).

This hotel is strategically located in the heart of Shinjuku, approximately 10 minutes away from Shinjuku Station. It is also very close to Kabukicho, which is approximately a 5-minute walk away. Convenience stores like Lawson and Family Mart are a stone's throw away, and there are many restaurants in the vicinity. However, we were surprised that instead of Japanese restaurants, we were surrounded by Korean restaurants and even a Korean grocery store. Having said that, the room is not too small for two people. With its price, I would say it's quite a good deal.

While the layout looked nice and had nice amenities, they have NO AIR CONDITIONING in February!! It was getting so hot in our room, the lowest could only be 16°C(60°F). They only have heat or AC based on the weather outside so we were stuck with only heat. We couldn't open the window either!! You can see there's scratch marks on the window from previous guests that tried to open that window!! I guess they suffered the same fate. Honestly any other hotel would of been fine than APA. How can you even enjoy your stay if its so unbearable that you can't even sleep.

Single room is perfect for a single traveler.  Very clean, good amenities.  NB the public baths have a. Hot tub. And though rules say : ‘no tattoos’.   That seems to have gone by the wayside. And …. There isn’t a monitor, just cleaning crew that comes by.  It’s not like a holy bath…..

Location puts you within 8 and 18 minutes of …. A dozen metro lines.   I liked it a lot. Would stay there again. Or one of their other dozen hotels nearby.  Which makes it a little hard to get your bearing the first day or 2- seeing APA signs that aren’t your hotel ☺️☺️☺️
