Lof Hotel Shimbashi in Tokyo

The nearest station to LOF HOTEL Akihabara is Akihabara Station, about a 6-minute walk from the Showa-dori exit, but the Hibiya Line's Akihabara Station exit is closer.

From the outside, it's a tall building with a narrow frontage, and my first impression was exactly the same as Kanda East.

Going down the corridor next to the lounge, there's a small reception desk where you pick up your room wear and amenities before going to your room.

The room itself is almost square upon entering, with a 150cm wide double bed by the window, a desk next to it, and a large smart TV on the wall at the foot of the bed.

It's compact, but there are no large pillars like in Kanda East, and the square shape prevents it from feeling too cramped.

Opening the door on the wall next to the desk leads to the bathroom area, which felt a little more spacious, which was nice.

However, there's only a shower; like Kanda East, there's no bathtub.

There's a small window next to the bed, but there's almost no view.

However, unlike Kanda East, this hotel has a ground-floor lounge exclusively for hotel guests.
Here, you can enjoy six types of tea and other beverages for free, and there are power outlets and Wi-Fi available, so you can relax.
Incidentally, there was also a microwave oven.

The location is convenient and easy to find, but the room itself was a bit small. The lighting wasn't bright enough, and the bathroom shelf space was quite limited. Other than these points, everything else was pretty convenient.

Having Chinese-speaking staff at the front desk was very convenient. The hotel facilities are good. While it's a bit of a walk to the subway station, Shimbashi Station offers excellent connections to everywhere. Highly recommended.

The room was very clean, and while compact, it was fully equipped. I particularly enjoyed the 12th-floor lounge, which offered coffee and filtered water. Although the hotel doesn't provide breakfast, you can bring food back to eat, just remember to tidy up after yourself. It's about 800 meters from the subway station, which isn't exactly close, but the price offers excellent value, and the surrounding area is quite quiet. Overall, I found it to be a good option.

The room was fine, though a little small. The location is convenient, just a 5-minute walk from the station, and there's a 7-Eleven nearby. However, the surrounding area is quite quiet with limited dining options; you'll need to walk to Shimbashi Station to find more places to eat. The complimentary coffee and tea on the 12th floor were a nice touch.

Service was excellent, the room was spotless and very quiet. It's conveniently located near Shimbashi subway station, Tokyo Tower, and Ginza. For a two-night stay, it offered great value for money.

The room was bigger than I expected! There was plenty of space to comfortably open two large suitcases. They also provided check-in instructions in Chinese, and the surroundings were quite quiet.

I can't recommend this hotel enough! The service was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly. They even helped us with public transport directions when we went out and offered umbrellas when it rained. The male staff member at the front desk was particularly helpful and nice. Seriously, highly recommended! I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Japan. This is a genuine, unsolicited review!

This is primarily a "business hotel" and it served it purpose for sleep, shower, and convenient location but the room was too small for any other purpose.
The room had a mini-fridge and an electric pot to make water.
Although the room was small it seems it was new.
It had a very tiny desk with some makeshift seat out of a cube. I checked in late at night so I didn't have to do any work there or it would have been cumbersome.
For the not-so-reasonable price, I will try to find something else next time but enough if you are in a rush.

Good location, 2 stations nearby, some convenience shops next to it as well. Close to some attractions. Room is very small and basic.
